Perhaps this will help you out, if not hang in, someone will steer you in the right direction. Below is from the knowledge base, multiplayer guidelines: Addons You have successfully gotten multiplayer to work. You either hosted other people or successfully joined a game hosted by someone else. But, you are bored with the stock terrain, aircraft, and/or weapons. What about the hundreds of free addons available on for download on the internet? In theory, almost all addons will work with online multiplayer if everyone has the same files as the host installation. Certain addons that work great with single player may cause issues online multiplayer due to size, complexity, or bugs in the multiplayer implementation. 1. Addon aircraft should be limited to a small list of aircraft that everyone wants to fly. This avoids problems with the filechecker and makes it easier for everyone to download and install exactly the same files. 2. Addon weapons and fuel tanks are completely covered by the Weapons Pack addon. Unfortunately, the sheer size of this file gives the multiplayer file checker a lot of trouble, which means people will have trouble joining. Even if everyone is able to join with the Weapons Pack installed, you may experience some strange bugs while flying and fighting. It is better to use the weapon editor to create a custom weapons pack with only the weapons and fuel tanks needed to support the installed aircraft. 3. Addon terrains do work, but may cause some inexplicable anomalies.

Although fully attributed in the mission, those two great new trucks are the work of Daniel "Kesselbrut" Himmel. He has equals but there's nobody better. Since we decided to make the players look at the ground, the targets became important. I'm glad he didn't take my idiotic suggestion to put pigs in the flatbed. The Guideline hauler appears in two terrific Misty missions that incorporate everything we have done. Zerocinco.

Sidewinder Issues
eightlein replied to Jug's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Had to dig out the old MSS stick when my other took a crap. Have the same issues as far as the throttle glitch, but it comes and goes. Cant figure. Have not had a prob with it relating to CTD's. -
Anh, Which game(s) are you using? I am assuming you made a mistake when you state that you placed the weapons in the object folder. Place the weapons into the weapons folder, and use the weapons editor procedure. Place the AC sound wave, whatever it is titled (eg: Fishpot Engine) into your sounds folder. Check the knowledge base section here in WOV/WOE/SF for lots of good reading and assistance.

155 Long Tom
eightlein replied to eightlein's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Thank You gentlemen for your response. They are duly noted. I find it interesting that people who are not the owner(s),creator(s), (designers) are sending things to YAP without solicitaion. Just add this one to the pile. -

Gally, make sure you get familar with the knowledge base and the downloads section. You can use the search also. A vast wealth of info is available as well as mods to suit your taste. The utilities that are available are also a must. You will want the extractor tool for sure. Most questions asked are usually answered in a short time. Also visit some of the links for info. Good Luck. I'm sure there will be additional suggestions from other members. -

A reminder Ladies and Gentlemen. If you use a mod, that is not yours, you darn well better have written consent from the author to use it in yours, keep a copy of that consent, and state same in your mod. The staff at CA has been advised by this writer of such an issue, and notifications have been made to the parties concerned. Of late too much has been made of this, and now it has come back to bite us in the six.
