      Hunters of the IAF

A delegation from India visited Hawker in the UK in 1956 to consider purchase of either the Hunter F.4 or the F.6. Not surprisingly they chose the F.6, ordering 182 in 1957, including 160 "F.56s" , which were F.6s with cannon muzzle blast deflectors and brake chutes, and 22 "T.66" trainers.

The first 16 F.56s were actually F.6s obtained directly from RAF stocks, which were modified to F.56 standard after delivery to India. The remaining F.56s were delivered from Hawker. Initial delivery of the F.56 to India was on 11 October 1957, with the type going into squadron service at the end of the year.By the end of 1961 Indian Air Force (IAF) Hunters were up to strength, equipping seven squadrons. They were generally painted in standard RAF green / dark gray / light gray colors.

Indian Hunters are believed to have participated in "Operation Vijay(Victory)" - Liberation of Goa from Portuguese rule in 1961.

Indian Hunters saw their first major combat service during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1965, when they were mostly used in the ground-attack role.

    12. A Desert Camo scheme for the recently released F-19 from Julhelm. This is a very high rez skin (2048") so for those of you with lower-end just re-size to 512" or 1024".

To use this skin simply right click on the file and select "Extract to DesertScheme". Then place the extracted folder into your F-19 folder and you're all set.

Feel free to use this skin for mod you may want to make, just notify me beforehand.

      Enjoy and go fly!

    13. Aggressor skin pack for the F-19 Stealth fighter/bomber by Julhelm. This pack represents 8 of the paint schemes used by the USN VFC-13 Saints adversary squadron.

      Installation:

To install these skins you must first have the F-19 Stealth installed. Extract the main folder "F-19_Aggressors" to a temporary folder. Inside you will find separate rars for each skin. )I put each skin in its own rar to keep size down) Now extract each rar to its own folder. Place these separate skin folders into the F-19 folder and away you go. Don't worry about adding entries to the F-19.ini file, each skin has its own textureset.ini file.

This pack includes the paint schemes for the following aggressors of VFC-13:

      No.00
      No.05
      No.10
      No.15
      No.23
      No.24
      No.31
      No.47

Feel free to use these skins for any repaints you may want to do, just make sure I'm credited for the original skins and Julhelm for the F-19.

P.S. For choosing each skin I have labelled them according to their aircraft number e.g. "VFC-13 No.15" etc. I know that this does not tell you the colour of the scheme, but don't worry, there's a colour patch included with each skin so its easy peasy.

Any problems or queries, don't hesitate to contact me, I can be found posting at the Simhq, Column5, Combatace and Thirdwire forums.

      Have fun,
