   Harald Auffarth Jasta 29 DVII

   Auffarth transferred to flying fighters with Prussian Jasta 18 and recorded his first victory with them on September 16, 1917.On the last day of that month, he became an ace. He then transferred to Prussian Jasta 29. He scored a victory with them on November 13 and was appointed commanding officer on the 19th, as an Oberleutnant and would lead the squadron for almost a year. He accumulated victories erratically until his total stood at 20 on September 3, 1918, at which time he was recommended for the Pour le Merite. Becoming Commander of Jagdgruppe Nr. 3, he turned over command of Jasta 29 on 28 September.

   Schwartz took over command of Jasta 13 on May 1 1918, wounded in action whilst attacking a balloon on 15 June 1918; recovered and transferred to Jasta 73 on October 18, 1918. He is credited with 8 victories.
