This mod provides you with a batch of colorful, reduced-size counters, devoted to each of the nationalities present in Wings Over Vietnam. Besides having a more attractive map and less confused stacks, you can also find more easily the units you're after. As a rule, the counters with rectangular national flags and divisional devices show the ground units, while the counters with roundels concern the air units.
- September 2013 update: adds USMC, ROK and Australian ground counters, and now distinctive USN and USMC light grey air counters.

Japanese Ju-87K-1 Mod for SF1/WO* WW2 PTO and CBI installs 5/21/10

Junkers Ju 87K-1 dive bomber, in use by the Japanese? Called Irene by the Allies.:
Before the Pacific War began Japan had imported an example of the Ju.87A Stuka (As the K-1) for study by the Army. It was placed on display at Tokorosawa Air Base in late 1940. It was thought that the Ju.87A would be used in quantity and the code name "Irene" was assigned to it by the Allies, one of the few names for a German aircraft that was correctly assigned. Needless to say, the Ju.87 was never used operationally by the IJAAF.
Although it was never used, What If?
Have Fun

GBA I/51 France 1940
Breguet BR-693 (13 aircraft)
The Breguet 693 was a light bomber that usually carried 8 50kg bombs.
When they were delivered, the Breguets were popular with their crews, although the unreliable engines in the Br-691 caused headaches. Only in March 1940 were the first combat-worthy Br-693s delivered, and there were now five squadrons to equip: GBA I/51, GBA II/51, GBA I/54, GBA II/54, and GBA II/35, with a theoretical complement of 13 aircraft each.
It showed promise in its role and all Breguet variants (691,693 and 695) flew 500 sorties against the German invasion. 79 Br-693s were lost in action.
It seems most Br-693s went into service without underwing codes. While there are plenty of pictures of this aircraft in Vichy colours, it didn't serve outside metropolitan France and didn't see combat after the Armistice.
Amended DATA and LOADOUT files are included.

Potez Pz-633. Tonkin, French Indochina
During World War II, Thailand took the opportunity of French weaknesses to reclaim previously lost territories in 1904 and 1907, resulting in the French-Thai War between October 1940 and 9 May 1941.
This single Pz-633 flew recon missions in Indochina against the Thais.
Enjoy!
