    1. SF2 Post-WW2 P-38L Lightning, FAH & CAEC 5/14/2014

      - For SF2 (Any/All - Full 5 Merged Reccomended)

== Post War Lightnings, Part 3, "Latin American Lightnings" ==

      * Note: will most likely NOT work in 1stGen SF/Wo*, with out some modifications/tweeking. Use in 1stGen games has not, and cannot, be tested by me *

This is a revamp of Spitwulf's 1stGen Post-WW2 Latin American P-38 Lightnings. It is based on Wolf257's Lightning. This pack contains 2 complete aircaft, updated (as much is as possible) for SF2 usage. All sounds, weapons and a pilot figure are included. Guns you should already have.

      In this pack, you have

      P-38L, Honduran Air Force (FAH)

P-38L, Cuban Army Avaition Corp (CAEC)

The NEW skins, in jpg format, was created (now with rivets!). All Spitwulf's original decals were reused, excepting the national markings, which use stock 3W decals. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE.

Please take note, even with randomizaion, you only have serials for 6-7 aircraft, as is historically correct. You =WILL= run out of numbers. Unfortunately, that's just the way it is.

      When in-game, you'll see:

      P-38L Lightning (FAH) (w)

      P-38L Lightning (Cuba) (w)

on the aircraft dropdown menu. The (W) is for Wolf, diferentiating this P-38 from any others you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them!!!.
Spitwulf and Wolf257's original readmes are included in each of the aircraft's main folders.

    2. The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is a four-engine heavy bomber aircraft developed in the 1930s for the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC). Competing against Douglas and Martin for a contract to build 200 bombers, the Boeing entry outperformed both competitors and more than met the Air Corps' expectations. Although Boeing lost the contract because the prototype crashed, the Air Corps was so impressed with Boeing's design that they ordered 13 more B-17s for further evaluation. From its introduction in 1938, the B-17 Flying Fortress evolved through numerous design advances.

This is a revamp of Spitwulf's 1stGen Post-WW2 Italian Air Force P-38 Lightning. It is based on Wolf257's Lightning. This is the complete aircaft, updated (as much is as possible) for SF2 usage. All sounds, weapons and a pilot figure are included. Guns you should already have.

    4. SF2 WW2 PB4Y-1 (B-24D) USN Liberator, ETO Pak by Veltro2K 4/28/2014
      (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)

**Having a merged install is reccomended, as the destroyed model references the stock 3W An-12's destroyed lod.**

This pack contains a NEW aircrft, by Veltro2k; the US Navy's PB4Y-1 (B-24D) Liberator as seen in the Atlantic theatre (both North & South). This aircraft uses some SF2NA 'mission statements'.
It is designed for use =ONLY= in the North Atlantic/ETO. Research has not turned up any data about USN "D" models being used in SoWesPac or CenPac. Or in the Med.

      The unit represented herein are:

VPB-105, as based in the UK.

The aircraft is finished in "Atlantic Sea Search" camo, and while 'assigned' to VPB-105, is representative of pretty much all USN VPB Liberator units as seen from Iceland to Brazil, and all points in between.

The skins are in jpg format. All markings are decals (excepting the wing national markings). The BuNums are 'generic' in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft within a specific unit, but ARE for the model variant depicted. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. There are NO nose arts.
Weapons, pilot figures and guns are NOT included; you should have them already.
Damage textures are in DDS format.

      When in game you'll see

      PB4Y-1 (D) Liberator (v2k)

The (D) expresses that this version is based of the B-24D model, NOT the J, L, or M. All USN/USMC/USCG versions were called PB4Y-1, regardless of what sub-variant.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other important notations, in particular for in-game usage.

    5. SF2 WW2 B-24D Liberator, MTO Pak by Veltro2K 4/28/2014
      (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
**Having a merged install is reccomended, as the destroyed model references the stock 3W An-12**

This pack contains a NEW aircrft, by Veltro2k; the B-24D Liberator as seen in the MTO. This is the 2nd in a series of "theatre specific" versions for use in the various theatres (obviously!) of WW2.
REMINDER: this is for MTO usage ONLY!!!

      The unit(s) represented herein are:

514th BS, 376th BG, as based in Egypt & Libya. The aircraft is finished in 'desert pink' and neutral grey.

The skins are in jpg format. All markings are decals (excepting the wing national markings). This will make it easier for other texture artists to create other units. The serials are 'generic' in nature, as they represent no particular unit, but ARE for the model variant depicted. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. There ARE nose arts, the 1st 12 are from the original Pasko release, the others are from my "stock" of nose art decals. These should NOT be considered historical in any way, shape or form. They're just nice to look at.
Weapons and guns are NOT included; you should have them already.
All the 1stGen Hangar and Loading screens were either rebuilt to SF2-spec, or created new for this package. They are in jpg format. Damage textures are new, in DDS format.

      When in game you'll see:

      B-24D Liberator (v2k)

This will differentiate this Lib from any others you may have (ie: Pasko's).

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other important notations, in particular for in-game usage.

    6. Consolidated B-24 Liberator

The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was an American heavy bomber, designed by Consolidated Aircraft of San Diego, California. It was known within the company as the Model 32, and a small number of early models were sold under the name LB-30, for Land Bomber. The B-24 was used in World War II by several Allied air forces and navies, and by every branch of the American armed forces during the war, attaining a distinguished war record with its operations in the Western European, Pacific, Mediterranean, and China-Burma-India Theaters.

    7. Vought/Goodyear FG-1D Corsair (F4U-1D) Fuerza Aérea Salvadoreña (El Salvador Air Force) (wolf257)

-- For SF2, Any and All Versions

(Full-4 Merged reccomended, and/or SF2V due to the use of the destroyed A-1 Skyraider model*)

Many modifications and a complete reskin of Wolf257s F4U Corsair into those as used by the El Salvadoran Air Force. This is a complete aircraft, ready to unzip and fly away. Weapons, sounds, skins, decals, etc (for the most part!) are all included. This is basically the version I released in 2009, now uprated for SF2 usage with a new flight model and other minor tweeks.

This mod makes use of the latest patch level tweeks for randomization of aircraft serial/ID numbers. So, make sure you're at least at June 2011 or above level. Included are a new SF2-style hangar screen, some weapons, engine sound and a pilot figure. A Userlist is included, even though this is a "Nationalized" version. The WW2-era bombs are NOT included; you can find them in the GunnyPak, or edit the loadout ini to use stock 3rdWire ones, if you have SF2:Is Expansion Pak 1.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install.

    8. Vought F4U-5 Corsair, Fuerza Aérea Hondureña (Honduran Air Force) (TMF/MM)

      - For SF2, Any and All,

This is a modification of The Mirage Factory's F4U-7 (French Navy version), into the earlier, and almost identical (albiet modified), F4U-5 version as used by the Honduran Air Force in the 1950s and 60s. TMF original -7 readme is included. This is an SF2 revamp of the version I uploaded a few years ago.

This is a COMPLETE aircraft, with almost all the trimmings, ready to unzip and fly away. Many tweeks have been performed on this, mostly by Column5 to the FlightModel. Some data ini mods by me (duplicating the HVAR stations) alow for wingfold and the ordanance to "stay put" the pylons. Canopy & wingfold is activated by manual animation keys; use Shift/0 for the canopy, Shift/9 for wingfold. Obviously, the FAH dosen't have carriers, but research indicated that the wingfold was never disabled. As always, all the external lighting has been updated to be historically/mechanically correct.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, please review the Legal disclaimers at the bottom - some changes have been implimented.

Special thanks to TMF, and Sony Tuckson in particular for permission to include all the bits and pieces. Many Thanks man!
