  1. B-57G Tropic Moon.

This model is created from the old freeware AlphaSim B-57B which is a LOT more work than most folks realise.
Pit is by myself but not 100% correct.
Lots of ini work by Wrench......without Kev's help this model would not of made it to this downloads section.
    Read the readme and enjoy.

  2. SF2:V RB-57E Canberra "Patricia Lynn" (Remod)

    SF2 RB-57E Canberra "Patricia Lynn" (Remod)              7/25/2019
    = For SF2:V ( or Any & All SF2s, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*note: this mod was started for a CA member in July, 2018. I just recently found it in my archives. Figured I might as well release it!*
This is a complete rebuild of Anjundair's B-57E, and an update to Migbuster's RB-57E "Patricia Lynn" package for SF2:V.
The aircraft has 3 full skin and decal sets; all serial number decals are 100% historically correct. These skins depict the 460th TRW, Det 1 at various times in their deployments to Southeast Asia:
    Natual Metal (1963)
    Night 1 (1966)
    Night 2 (1970)
The skins use the SF2 'date switch', and marking change as needed as per the year in use. Skins remain in their bitmap format.
The FM has been rebuild using the stock 3W B-57 as a base. The avionics have been upgraded, and you'll now have a full time LLTV set up. As there is no accurate B-57 cockpit, the F-4B is used as a stand in, due to it having scope to display the radar, TFR and LLTV (yes, we know there actually wasn't one in the front cockpit). This (gaming) aircraft remains fully combat capable, unlike the Real Life (tm) versions. See Notes for more information.
    When in game, you'll see
    RB-57E Canberra (AJ)
on the aircraft selection dropdown window. The "AJ" credits Ajundair, even though there are no other RB-57s available.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them! If you have any earlier versions of this aircraft mod, it is =HIGHLY= suggested you delete the aircraft and decals folders, as THIS mod replaces everything. End users (tm) might also find the Notes section enlightning and informative.
    Good Hunting!

***Note: Found in the Archives!!! This was done and should have been uploaded in early 2018!! But I guess  never got around to doing so for whatever reasons. As I don't use my SF2:V mods folder much, there may be other birds that have been hiding in the hangars. I'll be more careful in checking from now on!! ***

  4. RB-57A Canberra for SF2

    RB-57A Canberra

    = For SF2, Any and All =

    * Note: Full-4 Merged reccomended; can be used in any game install with access to the STOCK CanberraB2, as it uses this lod (probably SF2:E?? IIRC!!) *

This is a full, complete aircraft mod containing everything needed to just unzip and fly!

2 new skins and decal sets are provided, representing the

30th TRS, 66th TRW at Sembach during 1956/58 (Natural Metal)
363rd TRW at Shaw AFB, South Carolina from initial delivery to the late 1950s (Night Intruder Black)

All serial numbers are 100% historically accurate for the aircraft and units depicted, excpeting the last 3 for the 30th ... they're fillers, but ARE for RB-57As (most likely from the 345th BW).
With the exception of the tail marking (yes, I had to paint them on!), all others are decals.

Minor ini edits add an audio RWR, and a very simple ground mapping radar (see notes for other explinations and such). Although designed with RECON in mind, like the actual aircraft, it still carries it's offensive bombload for Strike (ie: Night Interdiction). However, the A models (like the Canberra B2 they're derived from) carry NO guns, so I've limited the Mission Tasking to RECON and STRIKE. All weapons used (well, ok -the bombs!-) are stock in-game items.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them!

  5. B-57B Canberra Tweeks Pak -for SF2-

    B-57B Canberra Tweeks Pak

    = For SF2, Any and All =

    * Note: Full-4 Merged reccomended, but can be used in any game with access to the STOCK B-57B *

Some ini mods for the stock B-57B that add a usable cockpit (albeit not perfect!,but VERY usable), new avioncs ini, and adds the Nuclear Delivery Capability ™ they had from inception.

Note: the various Mk.7 series nukes and nuke effects are NOT included -- they're from one of the lindr2 weapons paks. For those wishing the physical models for the Mk 7s, they're in my original F-84F Update Pak available at the following link:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/11430-f-84f-thunderstreak-skin-inis-upgrade-pak/

However, as stated above, the effects are NOT with them.

An extra main ini, called "xB-57B.ini" is supplied so after patching, or DLC installation, a simple 'One click Operation' ™ will return this aircraft to Player-Usable status. Instruction on how-to are in the "To Install" section below.

Data ini tweeks 're-aim' the guns to fire through the gunsight, add ECM and CM dispensers (chaff ONLY!). Now, if I could only figure out the proper LABS 'bomb toss' that don't fall a bit short ... or long ... (lol!). The Loadout ini, for mission builders, has a "Strike_Nuke" callout. However, the weapons ARE selectable on the games loadoutscreen as well, after removing any other bombs from the bombbay.
No Hangar or Loading screens are included, cause I just plane forgot...maybe later!

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them!

    Happy Landings!

  7. B-57C Pakistan Air Force

Canberra B-57C for the "Strike Fighters 2" Series
    by Ahmed Junaid Raza

Pakistan was the only real foreign user of the B-57, with 24 B-57Bs and two B-57Cs passed on in 1959 under the US Military Assistance Program. From 1963, they were fitted with the RB-1A "Georgia Peach" all-weather bombing system, giving these machines a longer nose. Some of the Pakistani B-57Bs were also modified to allow them to carry four external tanks, permitting them to conduct strikes deep inside India.

Pakistani B-57Bs performed strikes during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War, flying 167 sorties, with three lost in combat, but as mentioned destroying three IAF Canberras on the ground. They also saw combat in the brief 1971 Indo-Pakistan War, with reports of four or five lost in combat. The Pakistani B-57s remained in service well into the 1980s, being the last of the breed flying in military colors.

  10. B-57G Tropic Moon III

Canberra B-57G for "Strike Fighters 2: Vietnam"
    by Ahmed Junaid Raza

New Avionics and TV by MiGBuster
USAF2 Tropic Moon skin by MiGBuster

READ the instructions - includes how to use the TV/FLIR etc

16 B-57Bs were converted to B-57G standard and used in Vietnam from 1970 to 1972
flying from Tailand for the Tropic Moon III project, and was a pioneer in laser
guided technology. The B-57G had built in sensors such as a low light TV system,
FLIR, and a laser giudance system. This enabled it to carry 4 x 500lb Laser guided
bombs and self designate targets for them. The 20mm wing cannons were deleted due
to the weight of the LGBs. 4 bombs were also carried in the bomb bay (unconfirmed).
Its mission was to hunt trucks over the notorious Ho Chi Minh Trail.

  11. RB-57A Canberra

Martin RB-57A Canberra for the "Strike Fighters 2" Series

Original skin and ini work by pappychksix

Updated for SF2 by MiGBuster (July 2009)

The USAF ordered English Electric Canberras as a need to fill a mission gap - however the order could not be fulfilled in the UK so Martin was able to license build Canberras under the B-57 designation.
The B-57A looks similar to the Canberra B mk2 however there were actually many differences - not least the the Wright J65 engines. Due to the bubble canopy, targetting the guns was found to be very difficult, and so the canopy and nose were totally redesigned into what became the B-57B.

The RB-57A was the first real production model of the B-57 with around 67 being built for a photo recon role. They served from 1954 and were withdrawn in the early 1970s. 24 RB-57As were also converted to EB-57As.
