All credit for these skins goes to their creators as detailed below. All I've done is to re-format them for SF\WOV\WOE and add a textureSet to each skin.

Not all of the countries for which we have skins are included in the standard NATIONS.ini list, so I've left those as Soviet. It doesn't make any difference to the skins' appearance as there are no decals to worry about. If you have the New Nations mod that includes these missing countries then feel free to modify the relevant TextureSet.

All you need to do is to extract the skin to your Objects\Aircraft\Mi-24 folder, then go fly and blow up some stuff.

Another skin for the Skunkworks T-28B which can be found in their Third Party section. In the early 1960s, a single T-28B was exported to Japan where it was assigned to the 501st Hikotai Teisatsu Kokutai .....or Photo Recon Squadron. This was the primary recon squadron of the Japanese Air Self Defense Force (JASDF). Based at Hyakuri Airbase, just north of Tokyo......their main equipment consisted of RF-86F Photo-Sabers. This T-28B surely was some type of squadron utility or proficientcy aircraft.(?) Just drop the file into your T-28B folder and ENJOY!!

  15. Royal Saudi T-28A with NEW WEAPON PYLONS

Another skin for the Skunkworks T-28A which you will find in their Third Party section. THIS SKIN CONTAINS A SET OF NEW(and much improved) WEAPONS PYLONS for all your T-28A operations. Follow the READ ME file for installation.

The Royal Saudi Air Force obtained four T-28A aircraft from the USA during the 1950's. These Trojans were used for training purposes up until 1973 when they were retired. At least 2 remain today, one in the Royal saudi Air Force Museum, the other is derelict and remains at King Abdulaziz University.

Tested on post 08 patch WOV.

New pylons will be on all your T-28A's once installed.

All you need to do is to extract the skin to your Objects\Aircraft\Mi-24 folder, then go fly and blow up some stuff.

Thanks must go to the A Team for making the Mi-24 for SF\WOV\WOE, Tim Conrad for the original Mi-24V, and of course TK for giving us these great sims to play with.

This skin is based on Mike Pearson's textures and converted with his kind permission.

  18. Mi-24 Russian Grey camo

Strike Fighters/Wings Over Vietnam/Wings Over Europe etc Mi-24 skins readme

All credit for these skins goes to their creators as detailed below. All I've done is to re-format them for SF\WOV\WOE and add a textureSet to each skin.

Not all of the countries for which we have skins are included in the standard NATIONS.ini list, so I've left those as Soviet. It doesn't make any difference to the skins' appearance as there are no decals to worry about. If you have the New Nations mod that includes these missing countries then feel free to modify the relevant TextureSet.

  20. SF2 WW2 ETO Bristol Beaufighter TF Mk.X (DAT)

SF2 WW2 ETO Bristol Beaufighter TF Mk.X (DAT)

    = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)

**This mod -MAY- work in 1stGen game installs. But this has not/cannot be tested by me.**

This pak contains mods for the Dev A-Teams Bristol Beaufighter, that recreate the TF Mk.X in both it's iterations.
This is a semi-complete aircraft mod, and as per DAT directives, the aircraft lod is =NOT= included. So, those users that cannot access the DAT downloads, you're advised to skip this, as it's of no use to you. Everything else is included (pretty much!).
Those users with access, =WILL= be transfering the lods from a seperate DAT download of the Beaufighter TF Mk.X and Beaufighter Mk.10. ReMeMbEr: two different aircraft, 2 different lods, 2 seperate downloads from their site.
This mod has been built and tested with the

    BeaufighterMk10_R8.LOD (dated 7/19/2005)

    and

    BeaufighterTFX_R8.LOD (dated 7/16/2005)

from their WW2 Aircraft Downloads section. You WILL need BOTH of these, to copy/paste into these aircraft's folder. These are 2 different aircraft, with 2 different LODs
This pacakge contains 2 (almost) complete aircraft. I've split the Mk.X into Early and Late versions. Included herein are for UK (ETO) based squadrons =ONLY=!! You'll get:

TF MK.X (Early -no dorsal fin, no radar) Coastal Command:
    No. 143 Squadron
    No. 236 Squadron
No. 254 Squadron -all North Coates Strike Wing
No. 455 Squadron RAAF, ANZAC Strike Wing, (w/Invasion Stripes)

TF Mk.X (Late, -with ASV thimble nose and dorsal fin -consider this a "TorBeau")
No. 143 Squadron, Coastal Command, North Coates SW

The skins are completly new, from my Home Grown Template ™, and remains in bmp format. New decals were created for Squadron Code letters, serials, plane-in-group letters and others. Note: 455 Squadron uses a different pattern for their Squadron Code/Plane-in-group letters. The PSD template is in the /D subfolder for those wishing to create other squadrons of the ANZAC Strike Wing.
The serials are pooled, and are 'generic' in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft within the unit(s) depicted, but ARE for the model variant represented. Colors are FS matched as close as possible. When possible, the Squadron Crest is used for the 'paint chip' on the loadout screen.
All fuselage markings are decals (wing roundels remain painted on); this will allow super easy creation of other squadrons by simply creating a new SCode or **(2letter) decal, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
Hangar and/or Loading screens were either rebuilt to SF2-spec, or created new for this package. They are in jpg format, and fit SF2 styling. Damage textures are new, in DDS format.
Also included, is a new "twin bomb rack" for the centerline station. The other bombs and guns you should already have.
The FM, based off the Beaufighter in the Wings Over Africa Total Conversion Mod, may need further small adjustments.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! All the original DAT readmes are included, for historical and ownership/copyright purposes.
It is HIGHLY suggested you unzip this archive, and READ the install instructions BEFORE installing this mod. So you know EXACTLY what to do..

    Good Hunting!

  21. Alternative underside Hurricane texture

Here is an alternative texture for my No. 1 sqdn Hurricane package. Many sources quote the underside Duck Egg Blue color as having a distint greenish tint. Both A and B schemes are presented here - the A scheme in the post-August 1940 period with the smaller fin flashes and larger underwing roundels.

  23. He-111H6 KG27, Norway

    He 111 Skins Readme

These skins are for the various versions of the He-111 created by the Dev A-Team and modded by me. The skins are interchangeable between aircraft versions, but for historical accuracy you should install them to the appropriate model.

This skin is based on the work of Brian Hill for the Ground Crew Design Team He-111H series for CFS2&3.

To install, just extract the file to your Objects\Aircraft\He-111xx folder and go fly. It's that simple!

The skin should be available in the drop down menu of the He-111xx Hangar Screen loadout section.

    He-111H6 KG27, Norway

Thanks must go to the following:

Brian Hill for his work in creating the skin (I just converted it for use in SF) and for his kind permission in allowing me to bring the skin to the SF community.

The SF Dev A-Team for creating this plane to fly in the Thirdwire sims.

TK for SF,WOV,WOE,FE,WOI and who knows what else.

    Have fun, and good hunting!
