+simonmiller416 Posted October 14, 2025 Posted October 14, 2025 View File AVIC Chengdu J-10C/CE Pack Beta Beta version,it means not 100% complete, but almost there Because I might disappear for a long time and then reappear suddenly. =========================================================================================================== In case someone don’t know much about them, J-10 is a 4-Gen medium-weight, single-engine, multirole fighter, using a delta wing and canard design, from the mysterious country in the East. The J-10C is the latest version of J-10 in service, equipped with AESA radar and multiple advanced sensors. And J-10CE is export version of J-10C. =========================================================================================================== 1.What does this mod probably have? (1)Obviously, it contains 2 advanced birds, J-10C and J-10CE. It is worth noting that I have tried my best to imitate the paint scheme, numbers and common loadout of their units, so the J-10CE is not just a copy of the J-10C, but also slightly different in some details. Since there is no suitable cockpit model resource, I take the one from Rafale mod. Even though there is Freeware Licensing, I still added the creators to the Credits below. =========================================================================================================== 2.Usage: Unzip and copy Sounds, Effects and Objects these 3 folder to where your game is installed; =========================================================================================================== 3.Note: (1) No weapons included. Due to potential maintenance needs, I made a separate PLAAF weapon pack, you need to download it separately, I'm sorry if it causes you any inconvenience; =========================================================================================================== 4.Credits: 1.CG-BLUE (off-site user,I purchased most of J-10C resources from him); 2.Gux, Marcfighter, Heberth, ravenclaw_007, JAT(Cockpit from Rafale, sincerely thank them for their outstanding work); 3.Me (base on orignal resources, add a lot of detail objects,do a lots of animation and texture works); 4.T'Ilacis (off-site user, decals); =========================================================================================================== 5.Special Thanks: 1.JAT81500(For the JHMCS/pilot mod) Submitter simonmiller416 Submitted 10/14/2025 Category J-10 2
+Muesli Posted October 14, 2025 Posted October 14, 2025 Anyone else got a virus warning from the file (too)?

Distrust browsers and AV software, they label everything as a virus these days, especially with the use of AI machine learning. It is one of the many steps towards the enshittification of the internet. 4
+Muesli Posted October 14, 2025 Posted October 14, 2025 Thanks! I will ignore the warning then and give it a go!
Svetlin Posted October 29, 2025 Posted October 29, 2025 Hi simonmiller416, The folder for the 23MM_Type23-3 gun with ini files in it are missing in the pack and so the built-in gun of the J-10 does not work. Could you please share it? Thank you!

Svetlin Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Hi, there is one more thing to fix with the next update, hope you would not mind. The aircraft data.ini file refers to files AL-31F.wav for the main engine sound and AL-31F-AB.wav for the afterburner sound. These files however are missing in the Sounds folder and in there we have WS10B_0.wav for the main engine sound and WS10B_AB.wav for the afterburner sound. Since to my knowledge the J-10C is powered by the WS-10B engine, I would rather fix the aircraft data.ini file than add the AL-31F related sounds: [Sound] EngineSoundName=WS10B_0 AfterburnerSoundName=WS10B_AB StallSoundName=Stall_PLA DamagedEngineSoundName=PlaneFire BreathingSoundName=Breathing FlapsSoundName=Flaps AirbrakesSoundName=Airbrakes GearsSoundName=Gear LandSoundName=TireTouch 1

WS10B_0 and WS10B_AB in Sounds folder are right files. Since the SFX worked fine in the game, I overlooked this point. Thank you. 1
+simonmiller416 Posted November 2, 2025 Author Posted November 2, 2025 My other current works is to improve the appearance of the external fuel tank, these adjustments and fixes will be carried out simultaneously. 1

If I may, I would say the centerline drop tank needs a major revision as the shape is close to what it should be, but not quite there. https://nationalsecurityjournal.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/J-10.jpg The shape should be much more pointy at the back and the fins should be a bit smaller so that they did not extend beyond the diameter of the tank. If you could fix the shape, that would great, I think.
