Hello guys!

New member here. I've just installed Strike Fighters 2 and I'm getting acquainted to this beautiful game. Which mods do you suggest to get for a new pilot like me? I'm looking to expand the flyable planes list and to get something for night operations like runway and airfield lights. Hope to get my F-104 soon!

Honestly if you can fly at night though... I don't because while there are some mods you can, I just stick to day really.

Hi Flanker562!

Thank you for your reply! I did quite a lot of night fighting in IL-2 1946 and, if I can intercept enemy planes and find my way home with World War 2 technology, I should be able to do it with Cold War era stuff. But, as I said, I'm new to SF2 and so I'll try night operations in the future when I'll be more skilled with this simulator.

Greetings! My long, confusing route through various genre hyper-fixation has lead me to deep dive into flight sims, and I saw Strike Fighters 2 recommended in various places. It appears that Third Wire's website is down (and has been for a little while!), but I figured I'd get set up here and start researching the overwhelming modding scene. Hopefully the game's site is back soon!
