Help on Win11

Gents, my new pc just arrived, and is Windows 11. Any tip to make the game run? The loading screen crash all the time. Cheers!

Did you try compatibility mode? 

Or check what GPU you're using, that may be the issue too.

I still have the same problem with Windows 10 and a back up PC (with old hardware). It was working fine with Windows 10 and since a repair shop reinstalled Windows 10 without my intervention, SF2 refuses to run with the same exact symptom ("The loading screen crash all the time."). It isn't a hardware problem because it was running fine before the reinstallation without any compatibility adjustements. I've tried  all possible compatibility fixes plus various other suggestions found in this  forum but nothing worked and I've left it. However my conclussion is that it is related with the user settings, or the license type. Initially I had a purchased Windows 10 license and after the crash the repair shop was lazy to ask me or to find the activation key of the previous version and installed another version with a volume license. 

Can you check your license version ?

Yeah sometimes it selects like the Integrated chip and not the video card, and compability may be needed, as mine works fine on my laptop.

It's a Dell Alienware with legal and licensed Win11. My guess is the video settings. Perhaps a fine tune on settings solve this.

does it crash on the game load screen (one that says SF2 Europe, or SF2 North Atlantic etc) or the mission load screen (TK's old stock Phantom on the runway)

if you can get past the initial load up, check out which graphics the game is using in the options

not much else i can advise. been running SF2 since Win10 was offered as public beta, only had isues once or twice and that was before Win10 was officially released.

only Win11 issues i had were when i updated a native Win10 system. and even then it was mostly that i couldnt run more than 3 missions in a row

Now is working good! Just reinstall it and made some NVidia settings. Thanks for the help guys!!!
