I might be wrong but I "THINK" he might be refering to the awesome desert camo that the Israeli's tend to apply to their aircraft, including this particular a/c. If it'll help I scan a book I picked up in the late 80's that has all the cold war aircraft's and scan and post the various camo's applied on the Super....Just a thought.

Yep the 3 tone camo, same one sitting at home on my comp in the works for the Vautour.

Trip is going well. Windsor is done. Quebec City next. You guys didn't have a long weekend? Detroit had a big party up until Sunday on the waterfront but dead yesterday.

Due home on the first of June so I'll get to play with the SuM sometime that weekend.

Got a pic of the IAF bird over the desert Dave?

Not at the moment I dont but if you drop me a PM to remind me when I get home tonight I will. It looks just like the French one but with IAF insignias. I totally forgot about the camo ones.

No one noticed that Kreelin's pic has a different tailpipe to Edward's pic at the top of the thread?

Another model on the way?

The Atar 101G-3 turbojet was replaced by the P&W J52-P-8A unaugmented turbojet with extended tailpipe for SAM protection, as used by the A-4H, in 1969-73

The SMB.2s flew in metal finish and then green/brown camo before changing to green/brown/sand in 1971.

Didn't Kreelin mention something about the Sa'ar though, which is as you described?

Oh gonna be fun as soon as some stuff gets finished.

Yeah... Good catch Allen. It's another model indeed (new 3D, skins and FM of course) ;) ErikGen is about to finish it (3 or 4 weeks).
