let me guess....A-4E(L)????

throw out the A-4E_LOD that's in the folder. That lod is corrupt. As for your hump fix, that's already been covered in a thread here.

Now, if I could just remember how I screwed up the lod, I can create an invisible pilot!! Purely by accident, and duplicate it!!!

Be nice for drones... (I know, it's shamefull....)

Sooo....what you're saying is you're still NOT getting humped?? :rofl:

Sorry, I had to do that!!!

I take it it's still not working???? Everything you've shown is identical to what I have; and mine works.

I don't know what to tell you...maybe try the A-4L hump and see what happens??

My A-4EL Finally got humped.

You know when you can't make something work or solve a problem? Well, I walk away from it for 6 months and then out of the blue the wife goes on a business trip and I get it done. Much thanks to all of those that helped back in august.

Found a way to get the drones to look like drones already...let me know if you want it (made some other changes as well so that it is a true drone)

Now that is curious...have you seen (no pun intended) that with any other MF-release or any other mod?

Nope I did a clean install, than installing the mods without overwriting anything important but then the stock F-15 is invisible ..???

Hmm...silly question...but did you try re-downloading the file and starting over? Have (rarely) had some files hiccup during the download process...this may not be it though.

Besides, the MF one is WAY cooler than the stock one anyway... :scout:

ehh...

by installing the TMF F-15A you did overwrite the stock F-15A

The TMF Eagle is pre-WoE and uses the same folder name 'F-15A' as the stock WoE Eagle.

The problem is caused by the different hierachy of the lod files, the stock eagle lods have the same name ..

Re-naming the TMF Eagle lod files and adjusting the F-15A.ini to call the new names should fix it...

Here's a little tid-bit I'd like to pass on; something I've always done...and it will wind up in the KB

When Confronted With Add On Aircraft, That Duplicate Stock Ones:

If you don't wish to keep the aircraft, you can simple rename the folder "ori-***"

For example; you have the stock 3rdW MiG-21F13 (called MiG-21F in the game), but you've downloaded and want to install the Mirage Factory's version..

Rename the stock folder "ori-MiG-21F". Sometimes, to keep the usable aircraft section clear, I add a "Z" to the beginning. This will drop it to the bottom of the aircaft folder list. So...

"z-ori-MiG-21F"

This way, you only loose the ability to fly the aircraft, but don't loose it to a deletion -- which makes it harder to retreive if you want it back.

If you wish to keep the stock aircraft, you can also to a simple rename of the folder, but you'll also be renaming the ini as well.

For example; the stock 3rdW F-15A. Rename the folder to "F-15A_3W"

Then, rename the F-15A.ini to match; ie:

F-15A_3W.ini

Open the newly renamed F-15A_3W.ini, and add the following to the description (below come right from my stock F-15A_3W.ini)

[AircraftData]

AircraftFullName=F-15A Eagle (3W) <--note addition of "(3W)

AircraftDataFile=F-15A_data.ini

CockpitDataFile=F-15A_cockpit.ini

HangarScreen=F-15A_hangar.bmp

LoadoutImage=F-15A_loadout.bmp

LoadoutFile=F-15A_loadout.ini

AvionicsDLL=Avionics70.dll

AvionicsDataFilename=F-15A_avionics.ini

This allows you to diferentitate it from TMF's version, as this will be the name displayed on you aircraft drop down list.

The beauty of this is, you retain the stock aircraft in a usable form, add the 3rd Party unit, and everyone is happy.

How it works without conflicting with anything in another folder is just how the game works...it dosen't care what's in each folder, as that dat is ONLY applied to that particular aircraft. Therefore, no conflicts with the TMF version

Super simple, Super easy!
