Not many things provide for most of the needs in this sim, but with the "Range", those of us who have difficulty using aircraft sans the newer electronic gizmos, this is a welcome addition.I salute those who put this together. As a 60yr old desk pilot who actually was in a Marine FJ and three different Marine A-4 squadrons, shouldn't be a surprise why I enjoy this sim so much. Never really appreciated the skill it takes to operate aircraft from that era. Thanks again!! Semper Fi! PS: I get my name (Chief) from my career as a firefighter, not my military time :D :D
savagkc Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 OK, I'll bite. I have it installed, went fine. Where can i find it to fly - is it a mission, campaign or instant action? I installed as per instructions (xxxxterrainrange) and copied the desert.cat and renamed it to range. Range doesn't show anywhere for mission/campaign/ IA at all. How do i get to it???? thanks, savagkc

Congratulations (and great to train for Tainted Cigar, isn't it Deuces ?) one of the best addon to date. ALSO THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE SO EASY INSTALL !!!!! :D :D I'm sure I'm not alone to appreciate that and this install will certainly make the range more "popular"

And to think I suggested "take off, and bomb and straff your own airfield". As Bernard said, the easy install was especially appreciated! Thanks to all involved. My only very minor concern is with all the excellent mods and addons, will we have to reinstall everything after patch 2?

I will definitely have to release an update, but it will be a much smaller d/l since you will not need the tiles. You will also have to recopy the .cat file over once the game is patched. It should be a painless process.
