Worlds best jet fighter?

I was wondering what is currently, and what is projected to be the worlds best fighter jet? I have heard the f-22 raptor and some seem to think a new Sekoia. Opinions? Reasons?

No question about that, there is no best, main;y because there are many factors; however, I am looking for input... Anybody care to put their 2 cents in?

The F-22 simply because no one else is willing to spend that much on R&D and production for one.

 

The only thing the F-22 can't do is be cheap.

Everything points (not least the Red Flag engagements) that the F-22 will wipe the skies of any current adversary with minimal loss .

Maybe in 10 years or so something better may come into service - but only if the funding is there.

The best fighter in what??? Turn fights, BVR or sitting on the runway and cost as much as possible

Of course we won't know until we do Iran, but all the indicators are that the F-22 will achieve and maintain air dominance immediately. Even the US Navy is banking on this with their decision not to deploy any true fighter aircraft on their carriers.
