sparkomatic Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 thanks! I was trying to read it sideways to no avail... Quote
lazboy Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Thanks for uploading the J8 as I was also somewhat confounded when I visited the Chinese website, is there any chance that in due course you could also upload to CombatAce the J10 AND J-7's, the models look absolutely superb? Quote
marlin Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Any chance of one of these? http://www.airwar.ru/enc/xplane/f7fs.html Quote
TX3RN0BILL Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 The J-10... ZOMG!!! Looks like an X-31 without the thrust-vectoring rear end... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockwell-MBB_X-31 http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/x-31.htm Quote
+101tfs Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 (edited) I will consider it. And actully the J-8s is made by me,lol. But I am modding the 3D model of the J-7G above to make more J-7s, I have made the J-7II and J-7E and J-7IIA,and I will release the J-7 pack soon. They are REAL J-7s with completely new 3D models. It may also include the J-7MF and JJ-7. The J-7 series have few differences in the fuselage ,except the J-7C/D(based on MiG-21 MF) and JJ-7. It`s a real suprise that erwin hans uploaded the J-8.I am thinking of improving the details. And upload the final version. And I have to declare the copyright below The J-8 and J-8I is made by insky fallout3(this account 101tfs is a public account in insky forum,I just use it sometimes) And copyright is keeped by fallout3 from insky forum. Use,Modify and make Skins for this plane freely, bue don`t use it for commercial use or any use against China and the PLA and the Communist Party and so on. If you upload the J-8s to other forums and so on,please claim that it is orginally made by fallout3 from insky forum. Hope you enjoy the J-8s made by me! And you can write your suggestions below! P.S I didn`t include pilot and cockpit and afterburner effect in the pack I think the MiG-21 MF cockpit and the PVO pilot and the afterburner effect included in the Mirage Factory MiG-21F is fit for this plane. And the plane has jammer, jamming strength 60. And does "lol" mean laugh aloud in bbs?I find people using it everywhere. And please point out any grammer mistake below, thanks. TX3RN0BILL Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 And does "lol" mean laugh aloud in bbs?I find people using it everywhere. And please point out any grammer mistake below, thanks. AFAIK (As Far As I Know) "lol" means "laughing out loud", yes. Quote
+JediMaster Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 The J-10 appears similar to several other planes, but it really is a separate design. It's a bigger "Lavi" in the same way that the Su-27 is a bigger MiG-29 ie not much at all! The J-10 had a very long development, and while the Lavi might indeed have been the starting point what has entered service as the J-10A is very different. Quote
Guest chengliying Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 J-10 would be a nice addition to the game. But does anybody else notice that it looks somewhat similar to the EF-2000? J10 was done for lock on .you don't know? Quote
Shin_kazama Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 J-8/J-8I and J-7E/G/PG will soon realesd.J-10 and J-8IIs is also in consider Some pics J-7E/G/PG Airgurad J-8/J-8I Finback J-10 in Lock On,We will also use this model. J-8II Model finally, a lavi copy: the j-10. would you create a different cockpit and skin for a lavi? lets give the original designers a tribute ok? Quote
Erwin_Hans Posted January 9, 2008 Author Posted January 9, 2008 finally, a lavi copy: the j-10. would you create a different cockpit and skin for a lavi? lets give the original designers a tribute ok? A,J-10 is almost not a lavi.......at most 60%'s Lavi........ B,J-10's pit is more like F-16C's or F-18A's Quote
Lexx_Luthor Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 101 this is an interesting bird, and very large. ~THANKS~ In the cockpit file, I removed the // comments in five canopy sections, and the MiG-21F cockpit opens on the ground at very low speed. Quote
+JediMaster Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 The J-10 is a Lavi in the same way that the F/A-18E is an F/A-18C. It is based on Lavi principles, but is larger and much different under the skin. Quote
vulkan Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I think that Not all similar aircraft is a copy, but true mostly in the ColdWar some is copyed to each other, and inserted some technology... BUT DONT FORGET NOW WE LIVE IN THE 21.CENTURY, IN THE INFORMATION'S CENTURY !!! When "ANYBODY" have a good computer and able engineering anithing... Otherhand we was study in the school that similar problem or role make similar engineering...(made similar object) vulkan Quote
Lexx_Luthor Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 (edited) J-8 is a nice addition -- a very large tailed delta. I used some spare parts to roughly approximate the experimental MiG Ye-152M (M for Mutant Mod)... We need R-4 missiles, but R-40 is what I have to work with here. Spine is a collection of fifteen Tornado 1500gal tanks. Forward part of spine mating with canopy is three 55 gallon 55drum. Nose cone is a 600gal F-4 tank. Single engine rear fuselage is five 17PF noses. Drop tank is 370gal F-4 tank. It seems MiG enjoyed larger single tanks, while Su felt attraction to pairs of smaller tanks. The missiles never worked well when mounted at the tip, so for the Siberian Sky myth, I'll move them back under the wings using the J-8's outer underwing pylons. hmmm...maybe MiG would have the incentive to redesign the wings ... I do like the wingtip missile style, but flying with one missile is a challenge! Edited January 12, 2008 by Lexx_Luthor Quote
+FastCargo Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Jeez Lexx, a flying trash collector with all those addons...:). Nice improv though. FastCargo Quote
