Emp_Palpatine Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Hi guys! I'm just wondering... I had to bail out a few time after being shoot down. Logically, I was captured above egypt. But, one a few occasions, I bailed out above israel and I was... captured! On the first days of the 1973 war, when the front line is wayyyyyyy far. Isn't there here a problem? Quote
triplethr3at Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I had the same happen hear. I was literaly shot down over my own airbase and was lited as MIA. Whats the deal? Quote
Emp_Palpatine Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 Some sort of bug... Very annoying in campaign. Quote
+Gr.Viper Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Annoying, yes.. Shoud be reported at TW forums Quote
Emp_Palpatine Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 I'm not registered there. Maybe someone else? Quote
+BUFF Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I was literaly shot down over my own airbase and was lited as MIA. Whats the deal? not every ejection in real life is successful you know ... Quote
+Gr.Viper Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 But being "captured" over own field is strange. Do Arabs have special net-planes to catch ejected pilots? Quote
Emp_Palpatine Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 But being "captured" over own field is strange. Do Arabs have special net-planes to catch ejected pilots? I concurr. No problem about the randomness of viable ejection. But being capturated while bailing out over Israel, just like I've been beamed into some Egyptian jail is nonsense. Quote
+MigBuster Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 I had the same happen hear. I was literaly shot down over my own airbase and was lited as MIA. Whats the deal? Depends if MIA always means captured - or dead in a river after bailing out Quote
+Gr.Viper Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 In WoV it says "MIA", but WoI clearly states "captured by the enemy". Quote
+hgbn Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 And MIA do not mean you're captured by the enemy, just that you were never found dead or alive Quote
