Longestpants Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 (edited) It's just arbitrary. "Hey, we can still exert power, you know. We'll take away weekend lawn mowing. Yeah, now you see. We mandate respect." Edited August 22, 2008 by Longestpants Quote

Canadair Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Here people want and always seem to talk about whether in TV or newspapers. The Great Brother Sindrome. And so explained those stupid local laws. This country is really falling in the s..t!!! P.S. Oh sorry, is already fallen!!! yes it is actually an amazing load of crap. On the other hand I guess that everywhere there are stupid laws,, wasn't one in florida about "not being allowed to tie your alligator to a pole" Not to mention the few US states where I guess oralsex is forbidden,, Quote
+JediMaster Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 You know, that law DID curb the rash of pole-strapped gators we were having here. It seemed like you couldn't walk down the street without at least half a dozen of the buggers trying to bite you from the end of their pole-mounted leash... Quote
Jug Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 You know, that law DID curb the rash of pole-strapped gators we were having here. It seemed like you couldn't walk down the street without at least half a dozen of the buggers trying to bite you from the end of their pole-mounted leash... Isn't that the same place where the state university placed a crocodile on the cover of their sports review and called it an alligator? Maybe more gators on poles will help bring the overall education level up a bit. (Just kidding, the US could plunge into a recession and it wouldn't affect the state of Alabama for a decade or two as the state is only vaguely aware of activities going on outside of its borders. They still think the University of Alabama is a storied football power up there with Oklahoma, Florida, LSU or USC.) Quote
+JediMaster Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Are you insinuating AL thought Russia invaded the state next to them a couple of weeks ago?? Quote
