James Fox 22 Posted September 11, 2008 Two tsunami alerts have been issued after two earthquakes in the Pacific region. The 7.6 magnitude quake in eastern Indonesia prompted Indonesia's Meteorology Agency to issue a tsunami alert. Another tsunami warning has been issued after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake jolted Japan 's northern island of Hokkaido. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre has sent a message to countries in the Pacific, telling them they are not in danger from the Indonesia quake. GreyCap 0 Posted September 11, 2008 This quake din't even make the news here, and CNN.com said yesterday it was lowered to a 6.something magnitude, not 7.
