Well, It Would appear Ike Just Shot SimHQ Down...

I'm not sure, but I'd be willing to bet that the outage has been caused by Ike.

 

Talked to Doug last night, he's gonna try to stick it out.

Power lines probably getting beat up pretty bad

We're expecting at least five inches of rain in the next 24 hours this far north. I'm about an hour from D/FW.

Went through that very same scenario with Hanna, just last week. Parts of NJ recorded as much as 7 inches of rainfall in less than 8 hours.

Just got my eletric back on and just about every tree in the backyard is down.Looks as if a wind sheer hit us from IKE.

We had 30 inches of rain in 24 hrs from TS Fay, so I think everyone there should do ok!
