+Veltro2k Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 I remember we had an issue with some planes, where just the weapons were visible..(a-4E late) and some f-4's What was the fix for that ?

+Typhoid Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 dont think so, LOD is there but is it addressed correctly in the aircraft ini file?

kct Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 (edited) Are you talking about the A-4E (Late)? Pull out the A-4E .lods from the ObjectData.cat, and place them in the A-4EL folder, which means that I replaced the .lods that came with the A-4EL file with the TW A-4E, it worked like a charm (or was it supposed to..). Make sure point your A-4EL.ini files to the right .lods (or skip putting the .lods right away, just point the main .ini to the .lods). The same fix MIGHT be useful for the other A-4 mods out there, I have yet to try... Is it because of the updated ObjectData.cat? Probably the same kind of problems associated with some of the MiG mods after updates. EDIT: Take note of these in the A-4EL.ini: [LOD001] Filename=A-4E.lod Distance=100 [LOD002] Filename=A-4E_lod002.lod Distance=250 [LOD003] Filename=A-4E_lod003.lod Distance=500 [LOD004] Filename=A-4E_lod004.lod Distance=1000 [LOD005] Filename=A-4E_lod005.lod Distance=8000 Try using the ones in the ObjectData.cat, they work. kct Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 (edited) And this is some proof. Not really a fan of Skyhawks, but hey, our air force flew quite a number of these guys (surplus A-4Cs and A-4Ls) until they are replaced by Hawks. Edited September 16, 2008 by kct
