How do I update "Combat Over Israel"？

I am bigginer of Third wire sims, and new commer of this forum.

Now, I have quetion.

I bought MTRSOFT "Combat over Israel" package version, but it can not update by third wire patch. How do I update this？Please teach me.

Start the sim and in the bottom right hand corner tell me the date.

hmmm There dont seem to be any COI patches on 3rd wires site that I can see.

Unlike the patch download pages in TW's site for rest of the titles, the one for WOI has this additional line:

 

"Please note that this update is for Download version of Wings Over Israel only."

 

I take that to mean that the upgrade patch is only applicable to the download version of WOI purchase directly from TW Online Store rather then the COI hardcopy...

 

...but I could be wrong.

I don't think COI and WOI are even the same game

I'm quite sure they are the same game, I remember seeing TK stating that somewhere in the Thirdwire forum.

 

But this question is really a quite important one, are there a patch coming for COI? Or are those who have bought it basically beyond hope

"Combat over Israel" has CoI.exe, and this file is not recognized by third wire patch. So, I changed file name to "WoI.exe". Patch recognized this file, and main menu screen logo has been changed "wings over Israel", but game crush at mission loading. Indeed, Third wire patch can not update CoI.
