No. My first was back in 2006 at Edwards. A/R'd with Raptor 8 on a test mission.

 

When I took the photo above, I was giving a checkride, so my hands were free to shoot pics.

 

We're getting alot of the Holloman Raptors as of late.

Using the Minolta 7D. It's not quite as high-tech as the Canons or Nikons, but it does pretty well. I'd like to upgrade to the Sony A700 this coming year, but we'll see how the finances go.

I really Love the F-104.

i only had 2 times the luck to see the Starfighter "Live"....

The AMI F-104S on the picture was one. the Italian squadron

was on an exchange on our AB (AB Hopsten) in 1999.

Nothing much, just Crazy Ivan taxiing off the runway in a mined area for no apparent reason.

 

 

No mines, thank God.

 

 

It isn't fun when C-17 nose gear don't deploy.

 

 

It is cool to hang with people that have saved your life countless times.

 

 

Charms from an MRE are worth walking through mined areas for some people.
