+lindr2 Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 This is original? P.S. Russian ECM pods http://ecm.upstream.ru/knirti/production.shtml Quote
+Julhelm Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 Yeah, that's the one. If you could tell me which stuff is which and how it's labeled it'd be of great help :) Quote
+X RAY Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 julhelm is the 27M or better a 37 under your heavenly hands now???? Quote
kct Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 That pit looks like one that belonged to the -35BM. Quote
+X RAY Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 yes,but is more similar to the 27M proposal (su27m was old designation of su-35 canard model) than developped into 37 testbed, the 35BM one here depicted is more similar to the glass pit of the terminator and the earlier 35. 35bm is the choice right now of the VVS,but earlier config with canard and tall vert fins was more sexy! For me the sexiest russian built plane ever produced! Quote

Gr.Viper Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Your Russian will be quite peculiar if you learn it here. Quote
Syrinx Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Your Russian will be quite peculiar if you learn it here. Lol ! I'm quite happy to be able to count backwards, just like Helen Mirren in 2010 I can actually understand the cyrillic alphabet and it's pronounciation and can say the words as I read them, but obviously I don't know what 99.9% of it actually means ! Quote
FastCargo Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I actually took a year's worth of Russian back in my college days... Forgotten just about all of it though. FC Quote

Silverbolt Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 (edited) O.o do they teach Russian in American Schools? Edited December 20, 2008 by Silverbolt Quote
Silverbolt Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Why wouldn't they? FC idk, i'm shocked.... it was in cold war ? Quote
FastCargo Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Yep...at a military academy no less. I took it because I was interested and I thought it would be useful. I'm not understanding why you be surprised that a country would allow learning other languages. There's courses in Chinese, Farsi, etc. FC Quote
kct Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Public universities here offered courses in foreign languages for FREE, and most of them took Japanese (at least for the obvious reasons, and for some of us, well, the obvious). Though many people bug out after the first semester because things got tough. Quote

serverandenforcer Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Actually, it makes perfect sense to know the other side's language. It compromises their com and info security. Plus, it helps out a lot for diplomacy to actually speak to them in their native language. Quote

+Gepard Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Russian language is not easy to learn. I had it 7 years in the school and my biggest success by using this language was to find a toilett in Moscow. Quote
