Damn, so the skinning process really takes this much time. Ive started lots of reskinning projects but never finished one of them. I dont have the patience.

It's a harder process when you're starting a skin. Plus the fact that FC is busy most of the time so I tend to take it slower versus input from him. Basically I take it slow in this case so he has some time to figure out what I'm doing is what he wants and therefore not getting ahead of him.

However recreating a template is the longest, as when I was still active in my LOMAC days it took me a total of 18 hours to have a usable MIG-29 template for a request.

you thank that's a bitch? try it from a stock skin ... trying to figure out which line is a rivet, and which is panel!!!

it's actually easier from the UV map!!!

More weathering and detailing and really getting close to being finished as I can't think of anything else.

Adding what I think would be appropriate walkway areas for the wings

A question?? I dont know if i did something wrong but here it goes.

I just downloaded the Super Hornet pack 1.9 and installed it. I dont get any ground weapons when in the loadout menu.

Im running all SF2 games merged with the latest patch on a Win7 machine.

Did i do something wrong?

Thank you!

Everything is stock in my install besides the desert3 terrain. Another thing i noticed is that i can only choose year 2000 as starting year in the drop down menu for singel missions. Should it be this way?

No, go to the main directory and open the options.ini file and find this in the [singleMission] part:

StartYear=0

EndYear=2020

And yoy'll be able to use the years.

I use 331Killerbee's weapons pack so that's how I get more available weapons though I would think you'd be able to select just regular iron bombs

Back at it by adding some warning triangles. I figured it would make sense for the bay doors... And a dumb question does the "fuel circle" apply even to places that are square? Like the top panels for the fuel access?

Minor notations for JP-7 Fuel as I assume it would of course fuel the jet.

Okay it's getting to the point that I honestly don't know what to add anymore. I'm getting the strong feeling that the skin is done for the most part. There will be (I hope) a PSD available so you can make your own but if people have any suggestions they're always welcome. This is for the Thunderwarrior.

Decided I need to update a few skins that I did a year or more ago, first starting with the VX-9 CAG jet.

Something I started last night, VFA106 100 years Naval Aviation Scheme (though I mislabeled it VFA-115 in the SF2 Screenshot Thread)
