scouserlad13 Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 On this day 94 years ago the Gallipoli landings took place where thousands of Australian and New Zealand soldiers where killed. I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your prayers and respect for those who have fallen over the years serving Australia and New Zealand. RIP
GwynO Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 My little way of remembering them is to pack some Royal Legion ANZAC biscuits in my lunch box to share wherever I go to work, people usually enquire where to buy them and so I explain the significance of the ANZAC name. It's shocking how few people know about these brave men, especially the younger generations.
