Today I've got that same problem.

It was error 527.

After 5 minutes I have tried again, and everything was OK.

Same here, the www. is required to access the site, and I could not log in from the home page, but could do so from inside.

Same here has been very unstable today big time.... the errors had been 527 no reply and 404 not found all day

*Stands up in front of everyone*

It was me. I did it.

*hides smoking gun*

Truthfully though I had to make some last minute changes to our DNS records to bring a new piece of equipment online. Everything should be cleared up today if not already.

Windows users can run ipconfig and flush their local DNS records to get a new lookup.

START > RUN > Type CMD > Press [ENTER]

AT COMMAND PROMPT: C:\some_directory\maybe_another> Type ipconfig /flushdns > Press [ENTER]

AT COMMAND PROMPT: C:\some_directory\maybe_another> Type exit > Press [ENTER]

CLOSE BROWSER WINDOW(s) AND REOPEN

I get an error 527 ALL the time, except when I use a proxy service. What's up?

Read the post above yours and follow Eriks instructions. Works like a charm.

For most it does. If you're behind a router, then you should probably do a soft reset on your router and modem. If your ISP caches routes then you're probably SOL and won't be able to read this until the cache updates. Either way it had to be done and there's never a good time to do it. Trust me when I say I try to minimize downtime to an absolute minimum and try to keep the community advised of upcoming events.

If it was working would there be posts proclaiming my brilliance?

I had the same problem. i thought the site was down until a websearch on bf109s brought me to the forums. The strange thing is some of you say you had to add www to get here again, well i had to remove it and then my bookmark worked fine again.

weird, LOL!
