Just a thought.... with the time difference, wondered if any Brit's / Europeans fancy forming an online squad to practice...and eventually take on the American team?

Let me know if anyone is interested in moving this forward?

OH! I AM LIKING THIS! 2PM EST = 7PM LONDON TIME I BELIEVE!

I would be willing to create a MP mission with two opposing squads of aircraft. Maybe a two seater thrown in on each side for an escort type scenario.

Then we wouldn't have to use the Team dogfight feature and the game would run better.

We would set up two channels on TS for each side.

THIS COULD BE GOOD! :clapping:

Don't worry, if and when this happens it will be on the weekend. Most likely on a Saturday.

Check TS tonight starting around 8ish EST. Someone might put up a game. Don't know yet if I am able to host today so I haven't put out the call.

While "Us vs. Them" style dogfight missions would be fun, with the work I am doing in trying to make the campaign missions at least "somewhat" MP playable, we might have more fun in having one team fly as Allies and the other as Central Powers and play historically based missions. I envision MP campaign missions featuring some of the more active periods in the airwar for example Bloody April, or the "Last 100 days" time periods. With a little bit of tweaking and patience and preperatrion, single player campaign based missions can be made into very exciting MP events.

I hope to be able to share more on this development in the near future.

Which, in itself, should tell you something. I'm for it.

Obviously I'll join with the rest of the brits, but I'll warn you, having flown 3 sessions with our allied brothers - we 'll have a job handling em unless we start practising ourselves beforehand. They. are. good.

Well, certainly better than me... lol, but I'll shoot anyone, just point me in the right direction. 90% of the time I'll hit the ground real good, but I'll at least prove a diversion for the few short moments i am airborne :)

Will feel odd flying against the guys who taught how to MP and all, and I am VERY up for joint co-op missions, but I have feeling some good ol' dogfightin' will be a blast too.

Any european pilots got TS and can host a game night we could join to 'hone' our skills and unlearn target fixation?

What happens if you have both American and European citizenship? I'm a traitor then either way.

Sounds like a good idea. have fun with it.

Matt, I love this idea! Imagine RFC 56 vs The Flying Circus! Gents, I'd love to play, but 2pm on a Saturday is a very difficult sell to the 'Commendant' unless it's pouring rain and all the rooms are painted already. Know what I mean.

I stretch it enough working on the Nova... when I should be working on a new kitchen.

If I can squeeze it though... I'll fly for the Europeans...
