Hi to all you simulation fans! I recently purchased SF2: Vietnam. There are many US Navy aircraft to choose from here, but I cannot manage to start a Single Mission from a carrier. Do anyone know if this is possible. Perhaps I should try to generate a mod mission for this purpose?

Unfortunately game generated single missions will not be carrier based. It's one of the biggest gripes. However, you can fly from carriers in campaigns and user created single missions.

With TK working on SF2:Tomcat this situation may well change.

No you can not. Only if you have a user made single mission. Other than that you have to be in a campaign.

or load a campaign mission, save it with the new feature and edit it as you want.

^^ This. ^^

I am still digging the stuffings out of this save feature.

The fact that they are text editable, and singles allow mixed aircraft flights, it is the coolest darned thing since sliced bread!

:good:
