AGOSTINO Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 I have installed Hollywood Explosions by Stary, now is correct, if after to have installed it, I have also the BULLETOBJECT.ini and MISSILEOBJECT.ini (stock ini), in my Objects folder?? Quote
AGOSTINO Posted July 21, 2010 Author Posted July 21, 2010 They go in "Objects" Yes, I know .... my question was: I MUST to put them in "Objects" folder, or can I also don't put them?? Quote
FastCargo Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Try operating the sim with and without the inis and see if there is any change. FC Quote
+Stary Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 I think I did slight changes to maximum bullet speeds (speed below which single bullet is no longer calculated and removed from the sim) in bulletobject.ini and some effects references in missileobjects.ini (for nukes explosions to show) Quote
AGOSTINO Posted July 26, 2010 Author Posted July 26, 2010 Try operating the sim with and without the inis and see if there is any change. FC After trying I haven't noticed any difference!!!! Anyway, I think: If I make changes in the BULLETOBJECT.ini and MISSILEOBJECT.ini (stock ini), I MUST to put them in "Objects" folder!!! Otherwise, it is not necessary put them in "Objects" folder!!! Fubar512 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 (edited) There is a very noticable change. Since ballistic tables are now calculated to a lower Mach value, tracers (and non-tracer rounds) travel about twice as far as they did prior to the mod. Ones chances of encountering a golden BB, become just that much greater. Edited July 27, 2010 by Fubar512 Quote
