Single missions: Carrier ops and choosing oponents

Just discovered this sim (or sims), but with little time I stick to flying single missions in diffrent aircraft. Fallen in love with this flight sim series.

 

- Is there a way to fly off carriers in single missions with SF2V and Expansion Pack Gold?(So far I have only seen navy aircaft fly off land bases).

 

- Is there some way to choose wich enemy aircraft to confront in single missions? In SF2E Nato Fighters I have have difficulties coming up against Mig29's and Flanker's.

Cannot do single sorties from the flight deck... If you create your missions with Le missioneur (Spelling might be out) you can...

New SF2E expansion 2 will add a built-in mission editor that should solve the second problem. Not released yet though.

Looks like XP2 will solve the first problem as well

Yeah, things are taking longer than expected, additional times has mostly to do with making sure mission editor works with carrier-based missions.
