Semi-invisible FW190As

Recommended Posts

I've been trying out the Wings over Russia WW2 mod for SFP1, and have encountered an odd problem. The FW190A-4 and FW190A-6 models have invisible fuselages, see screenshots.

The FW190F shows up OK though. Any suggestions for solutions please?

Thanks

Mike

your best bet will be to ask this in the DAT forum as the mod is from there

Yes, have had this problem with other models too. There are to many Decals placed at the fuselage. Reduce the number of decals and it should run.

i thought it was for ease of maintence .. the mechanic can actually see what he's working on!!

yes, most definately caused by more than 3 decals on a single mesh. You'll hae to edit the decals ini, after figureing out which one is the offending unit (probably the stab marking, cross or id number)

Thanks all, will try that when I get home.

Thanks again all,

Deleting a couple of decals from the fuselage solved the problem, for the FW190As and, as I later discovered, for the P-39s.
