Anti Virus software

Hey guys I got my M11x and I'm amazed by it. Needs anti-virus though. Are there any free anti-virus softwares out there that are reliable? Want to be safe before I start browsing the web and downloading mods with it.

I've used Avast for the last 3 years or so and haven't had a single problem. I highly recommend it!

I have Microsoft Security Essentials, for around one year and highly recomend it as a light, free app, daily updates doesn`t affect computer performance.

I've had Avast on my desktop and it's worked well. But when I went on their website all I could find were payware versions.

I have M$ Security Essencials (it's free) on 4 of my PC's and no problems.

I also run malwarebytes once a week.

Another MSE user here. Using it since I went to Win7 and no problems. Aside from the way it handles large archive files like zips, rars, etc...if you have the real-time scanner on it will scan the entire file when you click it, whether it's an installer or whatever, and that can make installing things a bit slow. If you don't install often, it's easily overlooked. If you do, you can just turn off the RT scanning before running it.

Actually, I use Windows Security Essentials as well. It's free and provided by Microsoft themselves. Can't be worse.
