The above is "Standard" starting point. if this is true and we are metric, then the notation MaxFuelAmount=1320.9 for the F-100D fwdFuelCell is: 952.37 Liters of fuel (or 251.62 U.S. Gal) I can't check it, because this is just the forward fuel cell. Fubar512 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 (edited) Keeping it simple, 1321 kg = 2906 lbs. The accepted "standard" weight for JP-4 is 6.75 lb per US gallon. Thus 6.75/2906 = 430.5 gallons. There are three fuselage tanks in an F-100, and two wing tanks. The forward fuselage tank wraps around the powerplant's intake tunnel, and is divided into center, upper, and lower cells. The center, or intermediate tank (the smallest of the three) lives underneath the powerplant's intake tunnel. The aft tank is slightly larger than the intermediate, and also wraps around the intake tunnel. Edited December 29, 2011 by Fubar512 spelling! Quote
