Specs Dave, Specs. What's the native resolution of the three monitors you're using it with?

Well I have given up on this piece of s**t. Anyone want to buy it? I'll sell it cheap. Don't understand how it would work for Series 1 and not 2. Wasted money on a new additional monitor too. What a joke.

disabled advanced shaders too? I'm thinking of possible reasons why XP/Dx9 titles work while V,7/Dx10,11 do not

Progress, I put the Powerdesk settings to a single 1680x1050, started the SF2, I got cloned displays. Ran a mission and I got the pit across all three screens, but when I ended the mission, it went to a black screen. I had to control-alt-delete to end the game

hmmm... odd, but I have zero 3-head experience, just shooting blind. If you can run it and fly before lockup, try for starters lowest settings? I had sometimes SF2 locked for good when my video memory got flooded with unlimited stuff

Now I did get this to work with WOI. As it was native to using 3 monitors. Its very very cool. But that is Gen 1 and doesn't really do me any good.

I still have the Nvidia GXT 570. The Triplehead2Go plugs into the video card. Then it does what it does and wham I get uber wide screen. Anyway back to your original question I had to reduce the FSAA from 32 to 8. There is a little FPS drop when I first get into the cockpit view but that goes away really quick. I am going to set up a really intense mission to see if having lots of planes in the air effects it. I'll report back soon with the results. I will say this, this was a major pain in the ass to get set up. Took about 4 days total. I have 90% of all my games working. A few more still have issues, but I'll get them sorted.

I see... That's really slick. I'm curious how it works under the hood, will do some reading on it.

Have fun with your new toy!

works with Eyefinity too:

i think there's a few other games that have issues with Powerdesk... I certainly remember someone saying a few games they had to turn it off.

My question then is (by the way excellent post at SimHq, I think we should put together something for the KB) would there be any adverse effects to uninstalling Powerdesk?
