The skins I will never share

Recommended Posts

My wishes were all for a long nose Meteor NF-11/13 to use in europe and israel maps.

Well as I lost any hope to put my hands on it, I decided to make a fake NF-13 for 1956 war from the existing NF-14 (Veltro's Swansong) .

Only for my personal use.

It would be far from perfect but you could add some framing to the canopy as a decal.there are some problems doing this as the decal is semi-transparent but it might be an option to try.

Very nice Paul. I just love the Meteor. TK's F.8 is excellent and we can only hope that the two-seaters get the attention they deserve.

There is a Meteor MAX file available to modify to a 2 seater:

If there is someone interested, I can send the file to you on the condition that it's only used for creation of the 2-seater (the current single seater model is committed to another mod project).

Nothing nefarious here...I created this model from scratch so there aren't any ownership issues.

FC's maxfile is the perfect base for an NF Mk.11 the early type engines, wings and correct tail. Just need a nose job with twin seats and radome. I have a template ready for the single seat. So skinning would be easy if most of the mapping remains intact.

And the wing tips.

It's an exciting prospect!

"Meteor11" and "Meteor13" are mentioned in the data inis of the 1956 campaigns. Odds are against it, but hey, hope is free, some of those many models mentioned not appearing might be released one way or another, as some have already been.

Wov! That's far more than I hoped when sadly opened this discussion .....

If you need a skinner - of course - I'm here.

The NF-11 is nedeed for SF-2EU 1956 campaign and the tropical version NF-13 for Suez scenarios.
