AJAY67 Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Hi community, I am endevouring to customise this sim to my liking, almost there, but I seem to have another issue. I have downloaded the very nice SF2 style Hangar screens from this site, but I am damned if I can get them to work with default aircraft! All of my add on aircraft are fine. I extract the .ini files from the CAT and place those in the aircrafts folder within my Mods section. Also edit the .ini file to point to the new JPEG. Am I missing something here? Thanks, AJ. Quote
+NeverEnough Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Here's the first section of the Aircraft.ini file from the specific Aircraft folder in the Mods folder: [AircraftData] AircraftFullName=SEPECAT Jaguar GR Mk1a AircraftDataFile=JaguarGR_data.ini CockpitDataFile=JaguarGR_cockpit.ini HangarScreen=JagGR1_Hangar.jpg LoadingScreen=JagGR_Loading.bmp LoadoutImage=JagGR_loadout.bmp LoadoutFile=JaguarGR_loadout.ini AvionicsDLL=Avionics70.dll AvionicsDataFilename=JaguarGR_avionics.ini UserList=JaguarGR1A_USERLIST.ini Make sure the file name in the HangarScreen= and LoadingScreen= exactly matches the name of the loading or hangar screen you want to use. Also verify what format the loading screen or hangar screen is: .jpg or .bmp. Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 as noted in the DLC skinpacks, hangarscreens can also seemingly go into the skin itself for various A/C but the loading screen still goes in the main aircraft folder Quote
+russouk2004 Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 If you use jpegs I think you must type as JPG not JPEG I think... Hangarscreen=F4.JPG for example. Quote
+Wrench Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 yes, you must us jpg as th format name sf2 reads both bmp and jpg for screens Quote
