VietnamSEA Terrain issue

Recommended Posts

I just reinstalled SF2V on my computer and extracted the terrain files. When I started a mission the terrain looked like this....

I tried reinstalling it three more times yet cannot seem to get this issue to go away.

Any ideas?

Is this could not be linked to a patch issue ? Same thing appeared on a FS9 Heathrow add-on and was due to a patch.

I guess it could be a patch issue, I'll try it using an older patch and I'll let you know. Thanks!

running out of texture memory??

if it was missing tiles, you should be 'black' squares

there'r NO need to extract the tiles ... that's what terrain cats are FOR!!

do not extract the tiles, no need to unless you want to mod them

also you have on the screen attached what seems to be odd mix of BOTH desert and vietnamsea tiles loaded... you did something to the Vietnamsea_data.ini by chance?

This is just the stock VietnamSEA terrain and tiles. I did not do any modding or adding other that what the VietnamSEA.cat contains. I will try it again without adding the extracted tiles.

Thanks Everyone

No Problem, it did look that way.

It looks like I have the same problem without using the extracted files, it's weird as none of the other stock terrains in SF2 have this issue. I guess I'm SOL

Thanks again
