eugeni Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 An interesting novelty for fans of flight simulators,if product quality and can create a complete illusion of flight. One problem you cannot see the keyboard during the game.http://www.oculusvr.com/ Quote
usafphantom2 Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Yeah,I wonder if they thought about That?Brail keyboards anyone?Otherwise neat idea. Quote
CowboyTodd41 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 The project is being headed up by Ian Carmack and everything I've read says it's the real deal. I guess some media types who got to test it out got vertigo looking over virtual cliffs. Quote
TeargasHorse Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Use a multi function joystick, and you won't EVER need the keyboard (in game)! 1 Quote
+Stary Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Can I use the Oculus Rift if I have poor/zero vision in one eye? The Oculus Rift provides two independent images, one for each eye, so your view should match whatever you’re able to see in real life. We can’t guarantee it’ll work for everyone’s eyes; you’ll have to try the Oculus Rift for yourself to be sure. that's good actually for those like me... will see how it turn out Quote
