Any one working on a Cuban Missile crisis Campaign for SF2?

There is OTC "Operation Tainted Cigar", with a terrain for SF2 and a campaign for 1st Gen...might work with tweaks or something

With a little bit of tweaking, the SF1 OTC campaign & terrain works perfectly well in SF2.

In the Cuba ini you have to add aircraft type like so,

 

[uSAFUnit001]

AircraftType=F-100D

UnitName=511th FBS

ForceID=1

UnitID=1

StartDate=1962

DescFile=511desc.txt

StartText=CubaStart1.txt

CampaignBaseScreen=OTCbase.bmp

 

In the Cuba Data ini

 

You have make the following changes

 

F104A and F104C to F-104A and F-104C.

 

F-100d to F-100D

 

F-4b to F-4B

 

F-105D-25 to F-105D

 

MiG-21F13 to MiG-21F-13

 

I think that's it. I have had no problem so far. I know it says in the readme for CubanOTC terrain that the OTC campaign wont work so maybe there is a target issue or something.

 

I tried to add an escort grp to the Entrprise BG with no luck. They would not show up in game. Just the CVs.
