Stratos Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Simply look at this post and watch all the new models that are flying in DCS world. What I have no idea is why this models are not public? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=118794 Quote
+JonathanRL Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 They could be just "shells"; without proper avionics and flight models and all that in DCS that takes most time. Quote
Snailman Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Uh ... I havent heard anything either.... and yes maybe they are not detailed tho...( Quote
Stratos Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 Do you think that SFM ( Flaming Cliffs level) is that hard? Or anyone want to fly in AFM?? Te same goes for the avionics, I don't care for clickable cockpits. But I will love to fly more planes in DCS. Quote
FalconC45 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Seeing more WW2 AND WW1 got me interested in DCS. Although if DCS can be like SF for jets (ie simple commands) then I'll get few jets too. Falcon Quote
Stratos Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 SF level for cockpits graphics and FM are not enough? I will be more than happy with that if we can usenew avionics. Quote
Dave63 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 There is a simple avionics mode available, but I don't know how scalable it is. And as far a click-ability goes, there are people that bitch because the circuit breakers aren't trip-able and reset-able. Personally, somewhere in between is where I'd like to be. Quote
Snailman Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I have only Ka-50 black shark, and it is completely OK. I just did not have a proper system to run it. It has both simple and hardcore mode. I like both... Personally I like Lock On 1 because it had good graphics, but not too good to slow me donw... realistic but not too difficult flight... but it had very few flyables, and difficult to mod.... That is the prime reason I found SF2 because I wanted something like IL-2 with dozens of flyables, but with modern planes. That's only a sweet bonus that I started to make stuff myself)) Quote
Stratos Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 Seems that adding the 3d model into game is not that hard. Problem is the FM and avionics. Quote
+SkateZilla Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 The F-100D has it's own Avionics and Systems, and Cockpit is being worked on.Alot of those screens are of private modules demo teams are using or modules being worked on by 3rd Parties, so development is ongoing. Quote
Snailman Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Yep I know the team doing the MiG-21 DCS... hungarians))) They gave me info on the ASP-PFD gunsight) Quote
+ST0RM Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I tried to get the UH-1 cockpit into the UH-60 model, but couldnt get it to work. Also the OH-58D. I know it wasnt proper, but was bored and wanted to see something different. Quote
