+MigBuster Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 and you get this 270mph monster renamed as a Hennessey Venom GT
+Fubar512 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) A 1200 HP LS7 Corvette engine in a 2700 lb platform? Wow... http://www.venomgt.com/the-venom-gt/specifications/ Edited February 26, 2014 by Fubar512
wulfhound45 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 For it to count as a world record, don't you have to make two runs in opposite directions and take the average of those?
+FastCargo Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 For it to count as a world record, don't you have to make two runs in opposite directions and take the average of those? I believe that is the case. Plus, with these ultra rare cars, calling it a 'production' vehicle stretches the term a bit. FC
von Baur Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Plus, with these ultra rare cars, calling it a 'production' vehicle stretches the term a bit. FC They still call it "NASCAR", don't they? Ain't nothin' stock about those babies.
Viggen Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 For the record to have been counted, a second run would have had to been made and more cars would have had to be produced. A minimum of 30 have to be built, I believe 11 Venoms have been delivered.
