Richard Attenborough...Gone but not Forgotten

The actors (both from the UK and US) of the "Greatest Generation" are going or have gone. Richard Attenborough is one my favorites and his role in the Sand Pebbles is what clenched it for me.

Sad ...a part of film and acting history is gone,a brilliant actor,leaves a great hole in brit actors....RIP Sir Dickie.

I loved him in Brannigan.

While it was the coolest grandpa in Jurassic Park, and outcooled John Wayne in Brannigan (sorry, mylord, it wasn't your best) i found him most memorable in the Great Escape. It was beyond awesome. Talk about Heath Ledger's Joker...
