Stipe Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 So I've just downloaded SF2 on my new laptop and its all working file except that planes dont want to fire radar guided missiles. This problem is with every plane and every radar guided missile. The heat-seeking missiles work fine. Any idea what the problem might be? Thanks in advance. Quote
DEVIL11 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 By any chance have you tried reinstalling the weapons that belong to the aircraft. Quote
manukar Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 You need to designate a target for the radar guided missiles, otherwise they wont fire. Quote

I know. It wont fire even if its locked on the target. Quote
Stipe Posted February 7, 2015 Author Posted February 7, 2015 Both the stock and the moded missiles dont work But the AI planes can fire them Quote
+MigBuster Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Which aircraft? Are you properly locking a target up? Is it in radar clutter? Can you check the control mapping for the radar acquisition keys? Quote
Stipe Posted February 7, 2015 Author Posted February 7, 2015 (edited) I cant fire any radar guided missiles on any aircraft and I am locking on properly. I've pleyed third wire games for more that 8 years now and this is the first time something like this has happened Edited February 7, 2015 by 5tipe Quote
+MigBuster Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Before reinstall - Can you remove all mods by cutting out the mod folder - and pasting it elsewhere. You can then test it from scratch. Quote
+Fubar512 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Are you sure that you're within parameters (in-range indicator light illuminated, etc)? Quote
Stipe Posted February 8, 2015 Author Posted February 8, 2015 Well, since i fire them after the heat seeking missiles i think so Quote

Stipe Posted February 8, 2015 Author Posted February 8, 2015 I've fixed it now. It seems that after 7 years of playing with the weapons on 'easy' I've turned into a complete and utter imbecile who can't play the game properly... Quote
