I am happy to announce that the latest iteration of the Microprose Falcon 4.0 total conversion modification - Benchmark Sims 4.37 U7 - is available for you to enjoy RIGHT NOW!
BMS 4.37 U7 requires a legit installation of a Falcon 4.0 (all older and newer versions are accepted alike, i.e. Microprose, Hasbro, GOG, Steam, Retroism). The check is performed both at setup time and every time you start BMS. If no valid installation is found, BMS will exit with a corresponding error message.
For those of you who are new to Falcon and still need a legacy Falcon 4.0 license, you’re lucky, as there are various season sales going on.
Retroism GOG If you have already installed Falcon BMS 4.37 you will need to launch the “updater.exe” in Falcon BMS root folder (or from the new launcher). Alternatively, you can use the offline incremental installer available on the Falcon BMS Download page.
This mod may not be used for any commercial purposes. Any such use may constitute a violation of the intellectual property of Microprose Inc and the non-commercial Terms and Conditions under which Benchmark Sims make this mod available to you.
After the update, when starting BMS, the version string in the BMS UI will now read:
FALCON BMS 4.37.7 (X64) BUILD 3062
Be advised that experimental arm64 exe are available!
A big THANK YOU to everyone in the BMS development team and to the gents from Microprose who made this release possible!
Now download and enjoy!

Dear All,
Today we proudly announce the release of a new, re-edited and upgraded version of the Yankee Air Pirate project known as: "YAP RW Phase One - Enhanced Edition (2025)".
We have spent more than a year and a half doing our best to correct all the issues, errors and mistakes contained in the original release. This includes removing assets used without proper permission or those that came from unauthorized sources. We apologize for the past. We were unaware of many of these aspects and concerns, and therefore we did not respect other's work as we should have done.
First, we would like to thank those who contributed to the project and gave us help, support, ideas or made their assets available. We all know that without the brilliant creations of this site, YAP RW could not even exist. So for that, I extend my sincere thanks to CombatACE for being such a great source of top quality works and talented modders.
For this release, we have paid special attention to the Credit List, doing our best to cite authors and ensure proper credit has been given. We realize that with all the complexities and edits that have been done, it’s very possible we may have forgotten to include credits for certain works or there may be inaccuracies with our source citations. If that is the case, please let us know and we will immediately correct it.
That being said, people should fully respect that all of the models/assets in our project cannot be used anywhere else without our direct permission, they remain exclusive to this project like John would have wanted but also allows us to better manage artist permissions so we hopefully don’t have any future concerns.
Please keep in mind that the YAP RW project is made by fans for fans. None of us were part of the original development team, and we never made a single cent out of the old payware products (plus we have no control over the old homepage and purchase options). We do not have debts with anybody for the old assets bought by John Shelton during the YAP1/2/3 Era and are only looking forward at this point.
We legally bought all the 10 asset packs, installed them while still running WOV and then decided to challenge ourselves by trying a conversion to the SF2 engine. We knew we were going to lose many unique features including aerial refueling, low clouds, carrier catapult positioning and more. But we thought it was still worth the effort. We worked a lot before releasing this version, but we know it is not perfect. We tried to correct all the errors, but there are bound to be mistakes and oversights and for now we feel satisfied with the current state.
If anyone has suggestions to make it better, well we are open to proposed fixes and improve what we can. We have a group on Facebook, and because it is already well established we plan to continue to use this as a primary collaboration forum. It's a private group, since we had to defend ourselves from hackers and so on, but the group is free and open to anyone who wants to join in. You are all welcome, just show us you want to support and appreciate the project and there will be no issues. Of course, we do not like denigrators, haters, detractors, generic trouble makers just like they are not welcomed here.
That's all. The new YAP RW version is free and is available for download on our new, independent homepage: www.yap-revamp-works.com, along with all the other chapters we revamped so far. This version there are 102 missions (92 combat plus 10 training), all revamped in chronological order and in logical sequence: we decided to go back to the original idea of reconstructing the Vietnam Air War per year and therefore will cover the early period from 1954 to 1966.
We will be honored to hear your comments, suggestions or any screenshots or videos you might make. And maybe you would be willing to contribute even more to the project. Thank you for your collaboration and have a nice day in the skies.
The YAP RW Team

NovaLogic Skin Pack
September 13th, 2022 (1st Release)
by Menrva
>For Strike Fighters 2 games
This package includes high quality skins representing the player's aircraft from three lite flight simulators released by NovaLogic, namely F-22 Raptor in 1997, F-16 Multirole Fighter and MiG-29 Fulcrum both released in 1998. Below, a summary of the details of each skins:
-NL_357CW, for the F-22A Raptor aircraft I released. This skin represents the fictive Raptor Squadron of the 58th TFS, 357th CW (Composite Wing), which took part in military operations in Angola, Jordan, Russia, Colombia and Iran. Serial numbers are realistic, the first being 001 as portrayed on the player's aircraft from NovaLogic's game.
-NL_16AESOG, for the F-16C Block 42 aircraft released by The Viper Team. It depicts the fictive Viper Squadron of the 32nd TFS, 16th AESOG (Air Expeditionary Special Operations Group), which took part in military operations in Serbia, Liberia, Congo, Burma and Somalia. I made the skin for the Block 42, since it's closer to the one that NovaLogic modelled. Serial numbers are semi-realistic, the first being 112 as portrayed on the player's aircraft from NovaLogic's game.
-NL_11EW, for the MiG-29S Fulcrum-C aircraft released by The Mirage Factory. It depicts the fictive 300 Squadron of the 7th Red Banner Guards Regiment, 11th Expeditionary Wing, which took part in military operations in the Kurile Islands, Uganda, Somalia, Burma and Tajikistan. Serial numbers are generic, the aircraft does not have any in NovaLogic's game.
>Credits (in no particular order):
-The Viper Team, for its detailed F-16 3d models and relative templates.
-The Mirage Factory, for its good old MiG-29 3d model.
-Sundowner, for the MiG-29 templates he made available.
-yakarov79, for his reworked F-22 3d model and relative templates.
>Disclaimer:
This is a freeware; yet it can be redistributed ONLY in other CombatACE mods/mod packages.
This mod may NOT in any way, shape or form be used in any payware additions.

YOU NEED RAZBAM F-102A FOR USING THIS PACK
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had this reworked F-102A in my HD for a long time.
I have combined Paulopanz 's skinpack in RAZBAM with my own improvements.
I made a complete rework of the performance specs, engine data, cockpit and avionic mods, new pilots, and ravenclaw weapons with completely new loadouts.
There is also
- a Vietnam specific version that can fire Air to Ground AIM-4s, converted by me, and SUU-11 pods.
- a HAF specific version which is not much more than deleted AIM-26 capability in case X aircraft and a new pilot.
Credits must really go to
- RAZBAM
- Paulopanz
- Ravenclaw
Known issues - the SUU-11 pods are not placed correctly. I didn't have time to fix it. I hope someone will fix them.
EDIT:
1) About the weapons:
- For some reason I have Ravenclaw's AIM-4E but not the AIM-4F and AIM-4G. If someone has them, please notify me to include them in the pack.
- This is the first actual use of Ravenclaw's AIM-26s. I was really surprised to realize that the AIM-26s were actually used only in the updated F-102s. It is weird that the AIM-26s were not used in the F-101Bs and the F-106s
- I have included the AIM-4F also. I cannot remember exactly, but the AIM-4F was actually carried by the F-102A, I am not sure if it was certified for actual combat use or only for testing (F-102s were used as development planes for the F-106). My final conclusion is that the AIM-4Fs were not issued into operational service with the F-102As simply because they were not enough AIM-4E/F/Gs made, barely enough for the F-106A alone.
2) I have not included a READ ME file, which I think I will do in the future.
3) a possible update would fix the SUU-11 issue plus improved avionics, if someone has some suggestions for further improvements please PM me.
