Hello!  So I had an earlier post about weirdness happening usually at around 80% where sounds and the mission starts while the loading screen is still up.  I traced this back to issues with ground object and terrain files.  Ive also noticed that this issue comes up after my Norton antivirus software does a scan.  Has anyone else had any trouble with antivirus software destroying Strike Fighters 2 files? Any ideas on how to stop this from happening?

Years ago when I set my current PC up I researched getting the best performance out of it etc. I found out that Norton was one of the worst ant-viruses to have in terms of affecting game performance. One of the best is reportedly Avast (which also happen to be free). I made the switch and have used Avast ever since. I found that out from a Microsoft Flight Simulation X (FSX) forum in a master post dedicated to getting the best out of your PC to run FSX.

It was Norton as it might well be some other.
