glad you guys like it it the frist one of a campaing im making for the desert terrain whit only what ifs that im building has we speak the campaing (well the frist one that im making) his set for 1952 starting whit dhimar and FAA on november 51 full FAA RAF USN USAF USMC on 52 the OPFOR the usual ones Paran URSS.

24 june 1951 memories of Mid pilot Shepard

"It was just another day for us we had been tasked to patrol the gulf of Dhimar near the border over the water its part of a strategy to scare the Parani to a Royal Navy Aircraft carrier over the gulf whit our new shiny Shark FG.1 aboard well at least at frist in march or so now thing were getting diferent and the Parani air force was getting more bold was we speak."

"We took of from the Ark Royal that thing it would be normal!"

"has we got near our Loiter objective the radio crack to life Bogies near!!!! to my mind came the report off the Military Intelligent to keep a look out for any silver colored aircraft ."

 

"M.I. want to know more about the rumors that the Russians had supplied Tupolev TU-11s to parani! rumors were that it giving to American F-85s over in Korea...we spot then just below us and they  Ataqued!  we fought back saw realy clear over my piper."

Hi Cocas, models look quite interesting. Not sure how much what-if you want these to be, so just for information, Soviet aircraft constructors were sort of specialized.

Tupolev would build mostly heavy bombers and passenger aircraft (Tu-128 was the sole exception, but it was a very very heavy interceptor), Sukhoi would do heavy fighters, fighter-bombers and attack aircraft, MiG - mostly light fighters and so on.

The Tu-11 above would be more in line with Lavochkin's or Yakovlev's work at the time, so La-something or Yak-something would be more credible in my opinion. But for a what-if Tu-11 is also fine.

i know but i cloud found a clear la-XX pr Yakovlev yak-XX to match and i recall that during the biplane era Tupolev made some fighters using Policarpov´s hand but they come from Tupolev IIRC!

its has airbrakes on the wings like the Seahawk check the pics on post #10 pics 4 and 5 but later i post airbrake pics for better understanding the matter!

it thinks more like Canberra size! 17 metres length span you tell later beacouse at this point i only have the left wing!!
