Two-seat trainer variant of the F.4, company prototype first flew 19 March 1948, 640 production aircraft for the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy (43) and 72 for export (Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Egypt, France, Israel, Netherlands). Avions Fairey modified 20 Belgian Air Force F.4s to T.7 standard.

WHAT's IN:

- The long awaited two crewed Meteor
- 40+ brand new skins: BAF (2); EAF (2); FAB (8); AdA (3); IDF (5); KLU (6); MLD (2); RAAF (3); RAF (5); RCAF (1); RDAF (2) RN (2); SW (1); SyAF (1)
- Upgraded squadronlist (original by daddyairplanes), with lacking RAF Squadron to make almost all Meteors in RAF service

TO INSTALL:

- backup squadronlist.ini in pilotdata folder if you modded it
- simply put everything in your main mod folder and let overwrite.

- Coupi for French dressings;
- paulopanz skin & decal works as usual.

NOTES:

- The parrot-like FAB skins are mostly for our friend Denis Oliveira pleasure.

Outstanding!

Hell of a coincidence, I was watching a DVD about the Meteor a few hours ago.

Great, much better than the 1st release. :good:

But i had included specular & bump maps into the model. Is there a chance to get them?

I haven't. Maybe ask Veltro about making them.

Forget it, the plane has bad mapping, a cylindrical shape mapped side by side .... the top and bottom side is stretched as hell on both planes.

The 3D work and Shadow bug on the front canopy struts is as bad as a car after it hit a pole. (I told it V2K in the past to remodel it and remap it, he did nothing about it)

@ Veltro, try to map a simple cylinder with a 4 side mapping, you can select every single polygone you want to have mapped for each part of the template.

About the struts, why not delete this part, rebuild it and remap it .. just the strut, are you happy with the result?

Martin, I do what I can using what I have. I'm only an attorney at law, that plays as skinner. If you are better than me, make it or you're better than Veltro make your own Meteor T.7 and I'll thank you. But before talk anymore, please finish one (only one) plane you're working at and respect other people work.

This is our hobby and we meet here only for fun.

@ Paulo, i know you are the skinner, i have also offered help to V2K to show how to map objects, just a simple tutorial. He is getting better and better in 3D but when there is still improvement possible, so why not .. I have send out my planes for the 3rd time to betatester and they have found some stuff.. so back into the workshop... I dont see here a problem
