Sadly there is no Tejas available for Strike Fighters 1, WoX series.

Only for strike fighters 2.

Hello!

You can download the Hal Tejas airplane model here.

 

The plane works (!) in 1st Gens, although minor modifications will be required. First of all, save the main Banidos_Tejas file in the ANSI format instead of Unicode, otherwise the game simply will not see it. Please contact if you have questions.

Thanks Brother,but currently i m playing WOE, i v already downloaded the previous file u mentioned ,but its not working in WOE.i ll try this too

bet it's a unicode lod... they don't work in 1stGens, and the game engine can't "see" them.

:no: You will laugh, but THIS lod is written in ANSI, so it works great in the 1stGens. I guarantee it. ))

Probably, at that time Banidos was still using a normal MaxExporter_Max2009 without newfangled bells and whistles. In general, there is no difference if you do not use bump maps. Unfortunately, this beautiful model has a well-known shadow bug, so it’s better to turn off shadows in the main Banidos_Tejas.ini file.

By the way, a 100% sure way to determine whether the mod will work in 1stGens: just open the LOD file using Notepad (suddenly). If the opened text begins with the letters L O D , then the file is written in Unicode and 1stGens series games will not see it.

that is one of the WORST shadow bugs I've ever seen!!!

I didn't know about Notepad. I've been using a hex editor to open lods since the early 2000s!! Ya learn something everyday!

The focus with Notepad is good in that we can find out if the plane will fly in the 1stGens without starting the game itself. Since Mue's LOD Viewer 'sees' LODs of both formats, but does not report which format we are dealing with.

In turn, the Hex editor allows to easily change the format of textures embedded into the LODs. That is, from JPG or DDS to BMP format (or vice versa). Thus, all mods created for 2ndGens in ANSI - using MaxExporter_Max2009 - can comfortably work in 1stGens (or vice versa)).

Unfortunately yes! This bug is visible even in normal horizontal flight, and not only from some angles, as is usually noticed (when going below 45° roll).

The model needs refinement in Max.
Another easy way is to just change the "CastShadow=" to FALSE. Also eliminates the problem for that single aircraft. This is not the best solution, but the only one at the moment.

Aleducat nunca termino ese modelo, y lo largue en beta parta que lo vuele la comunidad, por eso no me molesto en soltar otros modelos de el como el packfa T-50

      I used to play WOV with many "column5" aircraft some years ago. Now I reinstalled it on my Win10 PC (thanks to the guide from this forum) but I realised, that the old column5 website doesn´t exist anymore?!?
      I´m searching some of their aircraft (or better versions) for my WOV:
      Mig 21 + Mig 29 both in NVA (East German Army) livery
      F5 Tiger preferably in the black Top Gun "Mig 28" livery
      F-14 preferably in the Top Gun livery
       
      It would be very nice if someone could help me?

      Can Anyone help me..?After installing Su-35 mod in WOE,i cant get the Russian Weapons like R-77,R-73 even if i v already installed latest weapon pack,this case only happens with su-35,but in Mig-35 or Mig-29 mod i can get Those Russian Weapons like R-27,R-77 ETC..

      CHANGES:
      I highly recommend to overwrite previous files decals/weapons/guns- or best is delete the old one and put new files.
      YOU NEED TO DELETE OLD AIRCRAFT FOLDERS CH-53Cand HH-53C from European pack.  Many things were changed and as tested Overwriting may cause some problems...So delete old ones put new ones.
      The rest (except Aircraft folders) are same can be overwritten without fear...also delete old weapon: HH-53_ ALE-20
      Small changes in ini files, corrections on fuel loadout, changes in cockpit ini. 
      Small changes in skins. Also No longer fake weapon "no gun" is needed - thanks to The Trooper. He pointed small fix in data.ini.
      Added simple bump and specular maps. Also added damage tgas.
      Major changes in the cockpit - now it is much more correct. Although probably not everyone cares ore will see a difference. Anyway.

      FakePilot mod needed to run this mod. 
      As always.
      Standard animation commands HH-53 C:
      LANDING GEAR - Nose light deploy/retract at any speed.
      ANIMATION 1 - cargo ramp half open
      ANIMATION 2 - cabin windows
      ANIMATION 3 - wipers outside/inside
      ANIMATION 4 - refueling probe
      Hook - changes position when refueling to see the tip of the spear.
      rescue op:
      Open "bombbay" doors - cargo ramp and right side hatch/door
      ANIMATION 8 - Open side doors, lower jungle penetrator
      ANIMATION 9 - deploy PJ
      ANIMATION 10 - lower/raise hoist.
      Animation 8, 9 and 10 have a speed limit. So you can't hoist on full speed.
       
      With little practice, you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes.
      Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control.
      Normally throttle vector control on 88-89 degree increase power 70% then slowly more and more, wait and it will take off.
       
      Cockpits.
      One cockpit for both aircrafts.
      Skins.
      All serial numbers are based on available photos and are historically correct and few versions of one unit for each helo.
      CH-53C 601st TASS Sembach, Germany.
      - early SEA and late EURO1/ hi viz painting.
      HH-53C 67th ARRS Woodbridge, UK.
      - early SEA and EURO1 camouflage scheme plus additional one grey before 67th moved to Woodbridge.
      Weapons.
      The only "offensive" weapon is left/right side gunner equipped with GAU-2 minigun. Well, it is quite a defensive weapon.
      CH-53C can be equipped with a refueling probe (same weapon station as in RH-53D)
       
      There is a separate weapon station called SandyStation - with allowed all sort of offensive weapons. Purpose of this station is to fly with Sandy (or any other USAF aircraft) as wingman fully loaded. Same way can be added Sandy fuel tanks.
      IMPORTANT -
      Due to tu construction of this mod, it is better to use collision and landing on NORMAL setting. On hard, you may have some complications on the airfield - especially with underslung cargo load.
       
      Pilots - best to use is OldDiego's pilots.
