Hello gentlemen,

I have this problem when I export from 3d max using the option export with decals ( I have tried both Dec 2010c and V09-20-08) I keep getting this for one of the materials. I don't know what to do. but if I export without decals it is 100% correct.

in max

1= Big....MB file...?? Decals are not to scale as rendered in 3D ...???

2=Not Connect all the  plane..before export....the LOD....and...so the body is ....some ....away and fly alone...that part.....??? take a look aroynd.....

3= that part is....Look THROUGH.....IN the 3d Max....???

4=

1 10MB also is is made the file 2MB the same.

2 No everything is connected correctly. 

3 No not look through.

Without decals everything in working great. I need to have it with decals so I can get the decals to work correct and don't bleed over other materials

The export with decals option only disables vertex sharing (this is (sometimes?) needed to prevent decal bleeding). But that of course increases the vertex count. I think there is a vertex limit per mesh. Maybe you hit that limit here?

Yes you are correcr about the bleeding as well as the increases the vertex count.  I just separated the part that was causing the bleeding and exported it without the decals and eveything is working correct know. Thank for you feed back.

I know the correct answer. There are too many polygons in one disapearing aircraft's piece . Theis part of the model will have to be cut into pieces. Don't look for or try other options. This is absolutely sure.

Ah... and one ask..... I believe the Khibiny-M (electronic countermeasures system) is not the part of model& If it is please make it stand alone Pod for other aircrafts. Its needed stuff.
