Need some minor modeling assistance

So well,the remaining problems of J-20 are basically beyond my ability to solve in a short period of time. I still need time to study , so I decided to publish them first. I hope you guys enjoy.

Will you be doing early versions of the PLAAF weapons by chance? I realized that you only did the later ones, and maybe have to stick with what's his name's pack.

I do have plan for making some of the early models yes, but for now PL-5B will keep the oldest lol. 

Relatively speaking, I know more about current period better, that is why mordem sticks are first tier, for the rest, I may need to do more research. 

Besides, many of the PLAAF's early weapons were imitations, like Magic R.550 → PL-7, Python3 → PL-8, Basically only textures needed to be repainted.Most of them have nice model so we don't have to worry.

Ahh cool to hear. I found the angelp pack (I think I had it installed earlier) so that will tide me over and the like, thanks for the reply.

J-20 update has been released and is awaiting approval. It is mainly an iteration of the canard function, which will act as a traditional flap during takeoff/landing and have independent operating logic.

J-35 (navy variant) is out too,unfortunately, it has similar small aerodynamic model problems as J-20s, but not obvious most of time.

Something pretty new from Zhuhai Airshow 2024,still waiting for more information, I may make one for SF2.

It looks like a fold-fins variant which probably would let J-20/35 carry 6 round in their bay(now is 4 with PL-15), but its name conflict with former export type of PL-15.

Basically this is based on several PLA modern ships. About a year ago, I found that many people involved in the test reported that they would encounter CTD when summoning them.

The strange thing is that this never happened in my SF2. This problem has troubled me for nearly a year.

I recently had a CTD situation after deleting the Flightengine.ini in the Flight folder for some testing needs, the I put it back, no CTD.  

I did make some changes to Flightengine.ini for performance optimization.

Maybe I caught a rat, but I need more evidence...So if you are interested in participating in this test, please let me know.

Oh, I saw some news about USAF F-16's IVEWS in recently months,I think at least some separate modeling is needed, fake pilot things etc.

Skin work is not a big deal, I made HAVE Glass V template already.

If I can do more about original Viper model would be wonderful.

Maybe I will add it to the list but it's long enough.

i would talk to ravenclaw_007, he has the original Team Viper max files and would be likely willing to adjust or share. he does new work on them as he is able to and can knock most requests out quickly so long as you have good reference material for him to work with

I'm also working on Patriot SAM, but just a question, do you happen to have a directory on when and how many PAC2 or 3s are being deployed by various operators?

Giving these units a suitable look in SF2 is another matter, I am more obsessed with making them "historically accurate".

The information I was able to retrieve was very fragmented, it would be better if there was a summary list.

I mean wiki should work for a list of operators, but yeah I've been looking for a good Patriot for a long time for SF2. But I'm sure you got that already in your searches as I don't know myself either.

Yes I mainly got operators info from wiki, but I feel like it's too fragmented, so I wanted to ask if anyone happens to have a complete list and would be willing to share it generously.

But that's okay, I can still just spend more time learning I have learned a lot.

Yeah as unreliable it is sometimes, I use it because I don't know enough people to ask those kinds of questions overall. For some things I can ask, but as far as operators and the like I tend to use Wiki, but yeah I got you.

its interesting that there doesnt seem to be a book just on Patriots. on Scuds sure. on the HAWK sure. but non on MIM-104....

looked in my collection of books and no joy. also got curious and googled just to see if there was a book (led to the above observation). still no joy

Yeah all I found were manuals and other stuff too, so looks like Wiki is the only way to list them. I mean the beauty of ini files is that you can always update them as more info comes along.
